U.N. CLAIMS WE USE TOO MUCH FORCE AT MEXICAN BORDER

Navi Pillay, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights says, "The reports reaching me are that there has been excessive use of force by the U.S. border patrols while they are enforcing the immigration laws."

COMMENTS:
Why we continue to belong to the far-leftist liberal United Nations is beyond me.  Maybe there’s truth to the rumor that Obama plans on being the next Secretary General?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Seniors only get a 1.7% increase in Social Security benefits next year.  Prices are soaring.  This sucks.  (Valentino ~ Palm Springs, CA)
A. What’s even worse is that the 1.7%, as paltry as it is, will all be eaten up in Medicare premiums, meaning the net increase will be zero.  Isn’t Obamanomics wonderful?

Q. I’m curious to know why the unemployment rate is going down in the key election battle states but not elsewhere.  (Carli ~ Sun City, AZ)
A. I think you already know the answer.  The Obama Administration controls what the figures say.  Obama needs to win the key battleground states.  Lower unemployment means more votes for him.  The rates as now stated will undoubtedly be revised back up after the elections, just as will the national unemployment rate of 7.8% which was admittedly computed using a different formula this last go-around.  Just because it’s a mathematical figure does not mean it’s accurate.

Q. Here we are in financial jeopardy, with the Middle East turning against us, and we’re spending $100 million to renovate and save their Mosques?  (Truman ~ Murray, UT)
A. Yes, that’s correct.  If Obama doesn’t have a problem with it, why should you?

TODAY’S QUOTE:
The World Trade Center site will forever hold a special place in our city, in our hearts. But we would be untrue to the best part of ourselves and who we are as New Yorkers and Americans if we said no to a mosque in lower Manhattan.” ~ Michael Bloomberg
