Israeli jets scrambled to shoot down what appeared to be a drone
flying over their airspace yesterday. Initial
reports say the craft did not originate in the Gaza strip and appeared to be
gathering intelligence.
COMMENTS:
Well, here we go again with another Obama blunder. Months ago, a U.S. drone went missing over
Iran. Iranian authorities announced they
had taken control of a U.S. drone and caused it to land and they were examining
it. The Obama Administration denied the
takeover and admitted the drone had gone missing but they insisted it had been shot down and destroyed. A few months later, Iran announced that it
had reverse-engineered the drone it had captured and created its own
drone; the media barely covered that story. Now, here we are with an unidentified drone
flying over Israeli airspace. Either
Obama sent it to see what the Israelis were up to in a possible strike against
Iran, or Iran sent it. Either way, Obama’s
team screwed up… again. (How long has it been since he did anything right? Oh, yeah... Bin Laden,).
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The other day, you reported that there had been two
arrests in Mexico regarding the recent shooting of two Border Patrol Agents
there. Now, the FBI is saying that the
one agent who was killed was killed by friendly fire, shot by mistake by his
partner. What about the two guys being
held by Mexican authorities? (Dirk ~
Tucson, AZ)
A. The waters are muddy, aren’t they? In its own way, it’s like Benghazi all over
again. Here’s the political situation:
if the killing was done by Mexican insurgents coming across our border, Obama’s
border policy isn’t working, is it? If it was caused by friendly fire, a Fast & Furious weapon could not have been involved, could it?
Q. Now that we have debates, is the Benghazi story going to
get lost in the shuffle, or will we find out what really happened there? (Nel ~ Mountain Home, ID)
A. I think this story is likely to stay on the front burner
until after the election, at least. What
came out the other day was that the Brits closed all of their operations in
Libya due to the danger there long before the Benghazi attack. And the reason the FBI took so long in
getting there is that there was no on-the-ground security; although we had
Marines in Tripoli and Special Forces in reasonable proximity, we made no
attempt to secure the Consulate, even after-the-fact. As to finding out what really happened there,
we don’t stand a chance of finding out until after the election, and if Obama
wins we may never know.
Q. Do you think Romney can quickly address the unemployment
problems and, if so, why? (Felipe ~ Elk
Grove Village, CA)
A. The minute Romney wins, even before inauguration, hiring
will surge; businesses will automatically know that burdensome regulations, the
prospect of higher business taxes, and the issue of ObamaCare are going to be
resolved. There will definitely be a
Republican House and if the Republicans gain control of the Senate as well,
look for stocks to soar and business across the country to turn around
overnight. If the Democrats retain
control of the Senate, we’ll still see a great positive upswing, but more
muffled. If Obama wins, look for
thousands of small businesses across the country to close their doors and
unemployment to soar.
