The FBI is being prevented from getting into Benghazi to assess
and investigate the scene at the Libyan Consulate where four Americans were
butchered over two weeks ago.
COMMENTS:
Defense of a Consulate is normally a Marine function; there
were no Marines within hundreds of miles.
The building and annex were not up to construction security standards. Investigation of such an incident is
historically a military function, but this one was turned over to the FBI as a
criminal matter. We were told that the
FBI had been on the ground prior to the discovery of the Ambassador’s diary by
CNN, but we know now that the FBI hasn’t been there yet. They say that Benghazi is not safe for the FBI,
so why haven’t the Marines been sent in to secure the site? One can’t help but think back about Ron
Brown, the Secretary of Commerce who was rumored to be about ready to divulge
information that could sink the Clinton Presidency in 1996; he and 34 others
were mysteriously killed in a plane crash in Croatia and his body was cremated literally within hours of the accident and before an autopsy could be
conducted. Whether or not there is some
sinister connection is pure conjecture at this point, but one thing is certain:
there is a concerted conspiracy to
keep Americans from finding out what really happened in Benghazi.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why is it that so many of the promises I hear Obama
making sound so familiar? (Lilia ~ San
Francisco, CA)
A. Because he made them before in 2008 and they are still
unfulfilled. He has no track record of
accomplishments to brag about, so he’s regurgitating what got him elected in
2008.
Q. I used to love Glenn Beck on Fox, and I heard recently
that he is back on the air, but I can’t find him. (Herman ~ Sedona, AZ)
A. He’s always had his radio show and has tried to lure
audiences to his web show. Now, there’s
a new network called “THE BLAZE,”
available on cable or satellite. Check
with your provider; he’s on Channel 212 of Dish TV.
Q. Bob Woodward said on CBS over the weekend that the U.S.
is about to crash into another recession.
Who is Bob Woodward? (Penny ~
Reno, NV)
A. A news editor and author, Woodward worked for the WASHINGTON POST and co-authored a series
of investigative stories about the Watergate break-in and cover-up, which
eventually brought the Nixon Administration down. Most major economists these days are warning
of recession worse than what we have had and word is that Bernanke and Geithner
are manipulating behind the scenes to keep it from happening before the election.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“After Nixon resigned in 1974, he engaged
in a very aggressive war with history, attempting to wipe out the Watergate
stain and memory. Happily, history won, largely because of Nixon's tapes.” ~ Bob Woodward
