MORE WHITE HOUSE DIRTY LAUNDRY

Abound Solar is currently under criminal investigation by the Weld County District Attorney’s Office in northern Colorado for securities fraud, consumer fraud and financial misrepresentation, according to the Denver Post.  The company filed bankruptcy after receiving $400 million in loan guarantees from the Federal government.  At least one official of the company reportedly had a pipeline in to the White House and donated heavily to Obama’s campaign funds.  Obama was literally forced to address the matter last week, saying: “These are decisions, by the way, that are made by the Department of Energy, they have nothing to do with politics.”  However, emails obtained by COMPLETECOLORADO.COM suggest that the White House was directly involved in the Energy Department’s decision to award the $400 million loan guarantee.  They also indicate that the loan guarantee was political payback to Democratic benefactor Pat Stryker.

COMMENTS:
Benghazi, Solyndra, Abound… the whole White House is taking on a really putrid smell.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Obama’s cronies were out on TV yesterday insisting that there is a swing from Romney back to Obama going on and that early voters have all been voting for Obama.  What’s going on?  (Melchor ~ Van Nuys, CA)
A. Desperation.  The swing continues in Romney’s favor, but the Democrats are hoping that they can convince Republican voters that it’s fruitless to go to the polls on the 6th.  If the press and media were doing their job on this Benghazi thing, Obama would already be packing his bags.  So, don’t get disillusioned; get out and vote and take your neighbors and friends with you.

Q. Will the Benghazi story get lost in the Hurricane Sandy disaster?  (Nancy ~ Richardson, TX)
A. Let’s hope not.  I think it may play second fiddle for the next two days or so and will end back in the headlines well before Election Day.  Maybe by then we’ll know whether or not Obama called Libya’s President for protection at the Consulate.

Q. How do you think we could best handle the growing threat of Al Qaeda and Islamic Jihadists in the Middle East?  (Chadwick ~ West Seattle, WA)
A. It’s easy to say we should close our embassies and consulates and get totally out, but we also need to have the intelligence on the ground to tell us what is going on.  I think we should quit trying to buy one group or another and break off diplomatic relations with any country that refuses to proactively go after terrorism.  I also think we need to stop meddling in Middle Eastern affairs.  Let them go ahead and annihilate each other.  We should stick with Israel and back any other country that will join us in the fight against these terrorists. Bowing and kissing rear ends over there is obviously not working, as Obama has found out at the cost of four American lives.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“The only reason Republicans are still pursuing the Benghazi matter is political; they don’t really care about the four who died there.” ~ White House stance.
