“Gov. Romney may dance around his positions, but if you want
to be president, you owe the American people the truth,” Obama declared in his
first post-debate appearance, a Thursday rally in Denver. Brad Woodhouse, Democratic National Committee
Manager, yesterday said “There have been plenty of people who pointed out what
a liar Mitt Romney is.”
COMMENTS:
If you can’t win on the facts, try to smear? Obama
had every opportunity to debunk anything Romney said during the debate;
therefore, Obama himself accepts what Romney had to say. This is the most offensive, repugnant and
loathsome attack to come out of any Presidential campaign in my memory. All of those bastards should be run out of
the hemisphere; they’re definitely not Americans or they would conduct themselves
much differently.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think about the 7.8% unemployment figure out
yesterday? (Karl ~ Anderson, CA)
A. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the figure is
as phony as a $3 bill. There are too
many inconsistencies, one of which is that the figure has only moved up or down
by .1% in any one month for a very long time now and this is a .3%
decline. The number of people out of
work remains the same. All segments of
the total number went the wrong way except one, in the household sector showing
800,000 jobs were added based on "statistical sampling." That is a
suspiciously high number and not consistent with everything else that
occurred. Finally, this percentage has
historically and quietly been revised higher two to three weeks after every
release for the past 36 months. I’m
going to say that this number will also be revised to over 8% on the day after
the election. The Obama Administration’s
track record in providing accurate budgetary or statistical information has
been extremely bad starting the day Obama claimed in Beaverton, Oregon to have
visited all of the 57 states. This is
just a ploy to try and con Americans into voting for Obama, just like the
planned release of a movie depicting the killing of Osama Bin Laden just two
days before the election.
Q. What’s the ruckus between AARP and Obama? I thought they were best buds. (Diane ~ Lacey, WA)
A. AARP did lobby for and come out in strong support of
ObamaCare, followed by millions of Americans leaving AARP in protest. Obama
mentioned in the first debate that AARP supported his stance on Social Security
and Medicare and AARP came out with an immediate statement that they were not
endorsing him or any other candidate this year.
AARP's senior vice president, John Hishta, says AARP is nonpartisan and
has never consented to the use of its name by any campaign or political group
and doesn't take sides in political races.
Evidently, the honeymoon is over.
Q. I heard the other night that a student in school back
east got in serious trouble for wearing a Romney T-Shirt to school. What happened? (Letty ~ Ogden, UT)
A. It was "dress-down day" at Carroll High School in
Philadelphia. The teacher screamed that
the school was a Democrat school and ordered the student to remove the shirt or
the teacher would cross Romney out with a marker pen. The teacher also tried to throw the student
out of the classroom. I guess the Black
Panthers are already at it.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
"The reason it's come down this year is primarily due
to the fact that more and more people have stopped looking for work. It looks like unemployment is getting better,
but the truth is, if the same share of people were participating in the
workforce today as on the day that President Obama got elected, why, our
unemployment rate would be around 11 percent.” ~ Mitt Romney on latest
unemployment figures.
