DID WEINER ACCESS CLINTON’S CLASSIFIED INFORMATION?

Anthony Weiner is now the estranged husband of Huma Abedin.  Abedin is a close confidant of Hillary’s and literally joined with her at the hip.  Abedin did have access to classified information while at the State Department and, presumably, also now that Clinton is getting intelligence briefings. 

COMMENTS:

There is every probability that Weiner came in contact with sensitive or classified information through his wife’s association with Clinton.  After all, the culture for handling the nation’s secrets under Clinton has been sketchy at best. It occurs to me that if David Petraeus had been a Democrat, he never would have been charged, let alone found guilty.

A. She’ll establish a national gun registry, substantially raise taxes and permit fees and require all gun owners to carry extensive and expensive insurance.  And, like Obama, she will do absolutely nothing to enforce existing laws to stop criminals from committing gun crimes.

ILLEGALS FILING LAWSUITS

Two immigration groups representing illegal aliens have filed legal complaints against the Obama administration for taking over one hundred thousand Obamacare customers off their insurance plans without sending notices in their native language, Modern Healthcare reports.  The groups believe the Obama administration’s move to end the health plans of customers who failed to prove their legal immigration or citizenship status violates their rights as immigrants.

COMMENTS:

When is this nation going to quit putting up with this bullshit?  If you're illegal, you have not rights in this country.  They give us even more reason to ship them all back… muy pronto.

A. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get back to writing positive and upbeat stories about positive and upbeat events and people.  That, of course, is assuming that we are not under I.S.I.S rule or faced with a national plague of Ebola.  Seriously, this Administration has turned me from being the ultimate optimist into being the consummate pessimist.  I have nightmares about it that are almost as scary as nightmares about my second ex-wife.

They just keep changing stories, those damned Obamacrats.  First, the hospital said that the initial reports that the Liberian Ebola victim had been to Liberia were not communicated to the physician due to a computer glitch.  Now, they are saying that was not true and that the attending physician ignored the information.  (Cuz ~ Davenport, WA)

A. That seems to be their standard modus operandi when they are dealing with something that is about to blow up in their faces.  I’m inclined to think they had him diagnosed with Ebola on his first hospital visit and Obama didn’t want the bad news out, so he had the CDC tell the hospital to send the patient home and tell him he had a low grade fever; not that this Administration would ever do anything like that.  Next thing you know, they’ll be saying the whole mix-up was due to an anti-Muslim video. 

Q. Do you think there’s any truth to the stories that the bombings and drone strikes in Iraq and Syria are more symbolic than effective?  (Charlotte ~ Irving, TX)

A. Yes.  Obama was bragging the other day about the fact they’d already had more than 200 air strikes; that would be considered by any knowledgeable military person to be a normal amount per day.  Wouldn’t it be something if the actual “bombing runs” were being made in the Nevada desert and we were being shown videos of bombing runs that took place in 2005?

AT LEAST I HAVE THE GUTS TO TAKE THE BLAME AND APOLOGIZE

I was on vacation in Washington State and returned late to the mountain top to get my blogs posted when I realized that my UPS had died.  So, there I was, all ready to write and no way to do it.  

Well, I could have ventured down into the deep, dark abyss of power cords and attempted to untangle the mess, plug the pertinent power cords into a surge protector and then done my journalistic chores.  But, there was another problem... I had a glass of Irish whiskey on the rocks staring me in the face.  So, I did the natural thing and took care of first things first; I drank the whiskey.  

Unlike someone else in the country, I will now accept the blame for not getting published yesterday.  And I will apologize for ignoring my duties to you, the loyal reader.  And I will not mention the fact that James Clapper and George Bush were both sitting here drinking along with me, thereby preventing me from properly doing my job.  

But then again, I don't occupy the White House, either. 

I'll be back in my usual and rare form tomorrow.

CALIFORNIA WANTS TO SCUTTLE U.S. CONSTITUTION

The State of California is considering allowing non-U.S. citizens who are in the country to sit as jurors; the State Assembly has already passed such a law.  Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, a Democrat, sponsored the bill, arguing that the state needs to broaden the pool of eligible jurors, and that fulfilling jury duty would help integrate immigrants. 

 

COMMENTS:

We are entitled to a jury of our peers, and that means U.S. citizens.  I’ll be damned if I want even one non-citizen on the jury.  This sure opens the door for gross injustice and “Kangaroo Courts.” It is conceivable that a citizen, on trial for some crime, may face a jury that does not even have one citizen on it.  The reasons California is having problems filling jury pools are numerous:

• Exodus to other states due to high taxes
• High percentage of non-citizens
• High percentage of felonies
• Low jury pay
• Judicial incompetence
• Broken draw system

Wieckowski has the brains of a post-lobotomy survivor.  Why do we have any jury qualifications at all?

A. This is not the first time in world history that two or more extremely talented writers have chosen the same pen name.  I’ve been using the pseudonym for about 11 years and was totally oblivious to anyone else using the name when I started to using it.  Otherwise, I would probably have used something a tad more braggadocios, such as “The Supreme Unknown Scribbler.”  I respect my counterpart(s) and promise fervently never to use their name in vain. 

Q. Planned Parenthood has been known to advocate not only for abortions with taxpayer funding, but to take the position that it should be okay to whack a breathing fetus on the operating room table in the head with a hammer during an abortion procedure.  Of course, when revealed, they tried desperately to back away from that position, but there is some concern that living babies delivered by Kermit Gosnell were killed by him during abortion procedures funded by Planned Parenthood.  I can’t believe President Obama is standing up for them.  (Ramona ~ Grants, NM)

A. Why not?  It’s just an open manifestation of his true, despicable  beliefs. 

Q. Why did the House pass a new bill allowing for the collection of private Emails including medical and financial records and the transmission thereof to the Federal government?  That’s a horrible invasion of privacy.  (Anh ~ Bainbridge Island, WA)

A. Fortunately, the Senate refused to pass it Thursday.  The Libertarian Party issued a release condemning CISPA earlier this week, which included this statement from Chairman Geoffrey J. Neale: "The provisions of CISPA [Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act] are abhorrent and unacceptable in a free society. We must not only trash CISPA; we must repeal the Patriot Act, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and every other law that violates our Fourth Amendment rights."  I agree wholeheartedly.

AHMADINEJAD: “WE’RE NOW NUCLEAR!”

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Wednesday that his nation now possesses nuclear technology.  He also said that the purpose of Iran’s nuclear technology is defense; he is in Egypt for an Islamic summit, marking the first time since 1979 an Iranian leader has visited the country.

COMMENTS:

Maybe that’s why Obama has decided to go to Israel to meet with Netanyahu.  He’s been saying for four years now that he’ll know ahead of time when Iran gets nuclear, and now he’s being proven to be a liar and a fool again.  But, I guarantee that he will eat no humble bagels.

A. Why don’t we focus more on the things that really matter in this country?  What about Fast & Furious?  What about the Benghazi Massacre?  What about Al Qaeda?  What about the deficit?  What about the Presidential prerogative to murder American citizens?  Who in the hell CARES about Jodi Arias?  She is totally insignificant in the grander scheme of things.  If you really are that desperate to worry and wonder about something, try wondering whether or not Obama really has starch in his underwear.

A. No, there is no end to government regulations when the citizens refuse to stand up and do something about it.  As for the labeling, it will cost billions of dollars per year and we are the ones who will ultimately pay for it.  One has to wonder why they don’t teach nutrition in school anymore.  I guess they’re too busy teaching kids how to be left-wing radicals?  It sure conjures up images of Federal agents pulling up to the market in SUV’s and armored personnel carriers, disembarking in dark black uniforms and carrying assault weapons, storming into the store and knocking over soup kettles and cinnamon rolls, and extracting store managers and food servers after being cuffed and cussed.

A. They are not ready to publicly admit it, but their ratings have been plummeting since the November elections.  Where are viewers going?  To The Blaze, headed by former Fox star Glenn Beck.  For signing such idiots as Dennis Kucinich to their stable, they are proving beyond a reasonable doubt that they, too, have lost touch with their base.  They are also under constant attack from the White House, and rumors are that they have decided to move their content more to the left.  There goes another bastion of media credibility…

INDIA TESTS LONG-RANGE BALLISTIC MISSILE

India has just successfully launched an intercontinental missile capable of reaching far into China, and China doesn’t like it.  The West has remained silent on the test while doing everything it can to stop North Korean tests. 

COMMENTS:

I happen to agree with China.  Why is India so intent on a military buildup anyway?  Are they getting ready to take on Pakistan again?

A. Yes.  The appointments were illegal because Congress was still technically in session and no emergency existed. 

Q. Mike Reagan is spearheading an effort to make California’s State Legislature a part-time body.  He argues they spend too much taxpayer money on their meetings and have so much time on their hands that they are enacting too many laws.  I agree.  Could this also be applied to Congress?  (Patrick ~ Sacramento, CA)

A. Yes, and it should.  Congress was originally intended to be part-time with Members spending the vast majority of their time back home with their constituents so that they would be more in touch with what the populace wants.  The only things they are in touch with these days are their wallets and their lobbyists.

A. I enjoy writing and do not wish to become a prisoner of social media outlets.  I enjoy good readership as it is without pledging my time and effort in those directions which would, in turn, limit my blogging time.
