California: Get Vaccinated, Win a Lottery!

Up to $116.5 million in total prizes will be up for grabs under the “Vax For The Win” vaccine incentive program, according to Gov. Gavin Newsom. Ten vaccinated people will be chosen to win a grand prize of $1.5 million apiece during a drawing on June 15. To be eligible, Californians have to have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, meaning it’s open to everyone 12 years old and up. Another 30 winners will be selected for $50,000 prizes over two Fridays, 15 on June 4 and 15 on June 11. 

If this gimmick fails to coerce reluctant citizens into letting their government "stick it to them," look for more aggressive measures, possibly including penalties and fines, to follow.

Tribes Get The Shaft Under Biden

The Biden administration's halt to drilling for oil and natural gas on federal lands is adversely and illegally impacting Native American Tribes that are trying to develop oil and natural gas leases on their reservation lands.  The government claims that reservation lands are federal lands, which is not the case.  The lands are held "in trust" for the tribes by the government, but the government does not own the lands.  

Since tribal lands are "in trust," they cannot be sold or encumbered without permission of the government.  The government had to give permission for the tribes to enter into agreements with the companies, but once permission was granted, it cannot be revoked unless there has been a fraud or misrepresentation.

The news has been horrible for Biden lately.  It started off with the disclosure that Emails on Hunter's laptop confirm his involvement with China and Ukraine, and that Joe not only knew of the corrupt plan, but that he was in on it for a percentage kickback.  Then, a former associate of Hunter's kicked in with 26,000 Emails of his own, further implicating the dynamic duo in what appears to be highly illegal schemes as well. The Dems and the Biden campaign got caught lying to the public, claiming that the whole EMail scandal was a Russian plot, and the FBI and other intelligence sources immediately discredited that ploy. 

Additional disclosures over the last week include the revelation that "neutral and undecided" voters participating in Joe's town hall were actually avid Democrats and Biden supporters. Yesterday, a "struggling bar owner" appearing in a new Biden campaign ad was identified as a very wealthy Michigan technology company CEO and Democrat donor.  For his answer to all of this, Uncle Joe has retreated back into his basement and Hunter is nowhere to be found!

Although no governors are talking about it, indications are growing that the worst of the Chinese Virus is over and that we may not see a "second" wave or resurgence as previously feared.  Even Dr. Fauci has greatly softened his stance.  However... whether or not Democrat Governors will ever be willing to give up some of their newfound powers remains to be seen. 

Given what we know as of this post, one has to wonder why the Minneapolis cops are not already in jail.

CHINESE VIRUS: GETTING THE ECONOMIC SHAFT

There are tens of thousands of people in this country who are classified as "independent contractors."  If they have no employees, they have no economic relief if their business shuts down or loses substantial amounts of income.  This includes business consultants, writers, artists, truck drivers, backhoe operators... and there are no unemployment benefits available.  Granted, some of these people did get their $1,200 stimulus check, but that isn't even a drop in the bucket to someone who's been netting that more or more per week.  

Equipment, licensing, utility and insurance payments continue to be due.  Rent or mortgage payments don't stop just because of Covid-19.  And as for the Dims... they continue to demand stimulus checks for illegal aliens.May God bless their pea pickin' little ol' hearts!

All of which begs the questions: Local, State and Federal workers have been working and on the payroll through this crisis.  They now face layoffs and are madder than hell about it.  Why were they still working when you and I cannot?  Are they better than us?  Why are Members of Congress and their staffs getting paid to sit at home and eat their $12-a-pint ice cream?  Isn't it time we evened the score? 

That mom who got arrested in a Meridian, Idaho park for being there with her children will probably get sentenced to 20 years and thrown into solitary confinement, while the local pedophile is out of the can so he won't catch the Chinese virus.

Wonderful Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says that the fact there are protesters out in the streets against her Covid-19 policies just might prolong the state's shutdown.  Good for you, Gretchen; show everyone who's boss. 

Making money off of Covid-19: I hear that watching porn on the Internet has gone up by 1,100% during the Chinese virus. 

Affable Adam Schiff showed up at a House hearing yesterday dutifully wearing his mask... under his chin.  Screw you pissant Americans; I can do what I want! 

That $250 billion relief bill has ballooned to $484 billion.  According to Nancy, you'll have to read it to know what's in it. 

Democrats say they will use the Chinese Virus as a tool to expand government control over American lives.   I say we Americans need to be stocking up on guns and ammo because... the Dems are pushing us further toward another American revolution.

CALIFORNIA CORONAVIRUS SHAM

I live in a relatively small community... less than 3,000.  No one in this part of the county has contracted the Chinese virus, but businesses are shuttered, services are curtailed and people are out of work.  In the county over the course of the last two months, 26 people got the virus, 16 have recovered and three died; seven are still being treated, with only one in the hospital.  In California, there are 39,557,000 people; 31,801 of them have contracted the virus... .08%.  Of those, 1,180 have died; that's 3.7% of those infected or .003% of the overall population.

And they want to extend the total economic shutdown for another 30 days, ruining life savings, jobs and businesses?

Delta Airlines is in a severe cash crunch and unable to refund ticket fares to those unable to fly due to the Chinese virus.

Now exerting full control and authority of what you do with your money, there's a move on to shut down all state lotteries until after the Chinese virus ends.  However, you CAN spend your money on pot.  

Not to be a killjoy, but how can Congress legally pass legislation when it's not in session?  

Speaking of money, many worthy charities which provide much needed public assistance  are in bad shape due to declining donations.

So, Where's The Beef?  The Good Food Institute is on a campaign to shut down beef sales in the U.S.  They gleefully report that the sales of plant-based alternatives have jumped by 151 percent in the last year.

The bad news is that grocery stores are running out of frozen pizza.  The good news is that people won't be needing as much toilet paper. 

Indictments about the Russian connections could be just around the corner.

Today is, of course, Good Friday.  By far a less memorable occasion, it's also my birthday and I can't even go out to a restaurant or bar to celebrate.  Just what am I to do? 

Here we sit, having weathered what we hope and pray is the worst of the storm, and the day of the Resurrection is upon us.  I can't think of a better time than now to contemplate our relationship with God. Happy Easter.

Now that the Democrats have gotten rid of Bernie Sanders, they seem to be plotting how to get rid of Joe Biden.  Not that I like Joe Biden, but how can you justify ditching the guy with the most popular votes?  But, then again, I'm not a Democrat, so I don't understand those things. 
 
Dr. Zeke Emanuel, the guy who wrote Obamacare, is now saying Trump needs to shut down the whole nation for 18 months due to the Coronavirus.  The guy is as savvy and compassionate as a rock.

A dad was playing T-Ball with his six-year-old daughter in Brighton, Colorado.  No one else was around except the cop who arrested him and hauled him off to jail for violating self-distancing regulations.  The cop will undoubtedly end up being Mayor of Chicago one of these days; the Mayor there closed down all of the barbershops, then justified getting his own hair cut because he's the Mayor... and has to look nice for the "people." 

Alec Baldwin says that if I vote for Trump again, I'm mentally ill.  Oh... I am soooo downright destroyed!

MEDIA: "JUST SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN"

A left-wing, liberal lunatic White House News Correspondent wants President Trump to shut down everything... from grocery stores to pharmacies, from funeral homes to gas stations, from liquor stores to gun stores... everything.  After all, the obviously Democrat- thinking, bone-headed cretin reasons, boarding everyone up in their houses will stop the spread of the virus.

I presume anyone who does not comply will be tossed in jail?  After all, the jails will be empty anyway after we release all prisoners because they just might get the Coronavirus.  Frankly, anyone who thinks like that must have a very, very bad case of worms.

A Los Angeles doctor reports his patients have gone from seriously ill to symptom-free in less than 24 hours after being treated with hydroxychloroquine.  Yet, there are far too many people in the medical field who insist those are just "anecdotal" stories and have no scientific evidence.  What a frickin' merry-go-round this country is on!

There's all of this ruckus about the firing of the Captain of the Theodore Roosevelt.  The Acting Secretary of the Navy said the guy was either too naive or too stupid to be the Captain of such a vessel.  So, Mr. Secretary... just who promoted this guy up through the ranks in the first place?  And just why is it that you, Mr. No-Longer-Acting- Secretary, got fired?  Inquiring minds want to know.

The advocacy group "Free Press" wants the FCC to investigate all networks who broadcast President Trump's press conferences about the Coronavirus.  What do these guys smoke, anyway?

Facebook has apologized for blocking posts about how to make face masks.  I hear they only allowed such posts if they were written by Democrats...

Word oozing out of D.C. circles is that Joe Biden has selected Susan Rice to be his running mate...

The left of the country is now claiming the only reason President Trump is pushing hydroxychloroquine is that he has a financial interest in it.  Here's hoping the left refuses to take the drug.
