White House has warned Congress budget cuts could nix the annual Easter Egg
Roll for kids planned for April 1. “[B]y
using these tickets, guests are acknowledging that this event is subject to
cancellation due to funding uncertainty surrounding the Executive Office of the
President and other federal agencies,” the White House cautioned. “If cancelled, the event will not be

A. Why not? Would it
be illegal? Yes, but mere legalities are no concern of the Obama Administration;
they are breaking laws every day, but no one in Congress seems to be willing to
do anything about it. Would you be upset
to learn that the Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare, requires you to have a bank account and
provides that, whenever the government determines you owe them money they have
the right to take it from your account without a hearing? Since Obama first took office, we have ceded
over to him the right to declare martial law, the right to shut down the
Internet and the right to shut off cell phones and land lines. Under martial law, he can seize anything he
wants, including your bank accounts and family jewels.
Q. Do you think anything positive will come out of Obama’s
visit to Israel? (Lizet ~ Cypress, CA)
A. Well, he’s going to receive a Medal of Distinction award
from the Israeli President, (not with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s approval). Outside of that, don’t look for Obama to bow
to anyone while he’s there.
Q. There’s a report floating around that the Republican
hierarchy has said that Conservatives are narrow-minded and out-of-touch. Do you think that statement is going to help
the Republicans? (Barney ~ Morgan Hill,

A. I’ve already said that statements coming out of the “Old
Guard” Republicans are not resonating with the people and without the people
the Republicans have no party. They
still don’t get the message and it’s getting closer and closer to the 2014 mid-terms. With Obama putting his full force
campaign-style strategy toward regaining control of the House in 2014, I’d say
the Grand Old Party is definitely not so grand anymore. How many wake-up calls do they need?
