Q. The White House has stopped giving tours, which means that
school classes can no longer see that part of American history. The Administration says Sequestration caused
it and it costs them $18,000 per day to have the tours, so they’re
saving that much by closing off the tours. This sounds so phony to me and
it’s the kids who are paying the penalty for Obama’s nastiness. What do you think? (Lynda ~ Corte Madera, CA)
A. You hit the nail on the head. It’s insensitive and incredulous and makes
Obama look like a real jerk, doesn’t it?
They didn’t lay off anyone at the White House, so where is the
savings? Now you know what I’ve been
trying to pound into American heads for the last four plus years about the asshole in charge of Pennsylvania Street.
Q. I have heard from several sources that Obama has directed
that any cuts as a result of Sequestration MUST
hurt the American public in such a way that everybody feels it. How can this be American? (Russell ~ Lawrence, KS)
A. It’s not American. That having been said, what YOU need
to discover for yourself is… If it’s not American, what is it?
Q. Why isn’t someone sounding the alarm about North Korea’s
threats? What is going to be done to
deal with them? (Marguerites ~ Dunsmuir,
CA)
A. The Republicans are asking Obama for a tougher
stance. I think those in charge of our
country are not taking these threats seriously enough. The Administration says we can defend ourselves;
that’s the thinking that created the ability for 9/11/2001 to happen. I agree with the tenor of the question: What are we going to do to deal with
these threats? Take another trip to
Vegas? Play golf with Bloomberg?
