Republican members of Congress have lost patience with the
Administration’s continuing refusal to come clean on what happened in Benghazi
six months ago. Rep. Frank Wolf from
Virginia reports that some escapees from the butcher site are still in the hospital,
meaning that they received serious injuries; yet, the names are not being
released and the people are not being honored.
"It's like it's a dark hole, and I think we're now at a point --
now there is a cover-up," Wolf told Fox
News, calling for a "select committee" to investigate
Benghazi. Estimates of how many
Americans were injured in the Libya assaults vary. Wolf and Jim Gerlach, R-Pa.,
claim sources told them up to 30 were injured, and up to seven may still be at
the Walter Reed military hospital.
COMMENTS:
Why this country is not outraged over Fast & Furious and
the Benghazi Massacre, I will never know.
You can bet your last dollar that there would be Holy Hell to pay if
these events occurred under Bush’s Administration and were covered up. We’re
talking about human lives here and the rule of law. Don’t Americans care anymore?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I’m sure I know the answer to this, but how are the
Iranians responding to the latest round of stiff sanctions?
(Sandy ~ San Diego, CA)
A. They’re not responding.
They successfully continue to stall and obfuscate. The inside word is that they will have full-fledged
nukes by summer. Their Korean pal, Kim
Sung Un, has dissolved the 1953 Korean Peace Accord and is threatening to start war
again; it could be that he intends to keep us busy while Iran concludes its
nuclear chores. This has been another
outstanding foreign policy fiasco engineered by the Omnipotent One.
Q. Would North Korea really have the audacity to attack
South Korea again? (Marlys ~ Steamboat
Springs, CO)
A. Kim Sung Un has proven himself to be erratic and
unpredictable. He obviously suffers from
the “short-man syndrome” and enjoys watching the reactions of the international
community to his tirades. At the same
time, his country is starving due to economic sanctions and the fact that every nickel
they get goes into their nuclear missile program; war could have the potential
of ramping-up his economy. Yes, he would
have the audacity to attack South Korea.
Will he? I would say the odds are
higher than ever.
Q. Back in days gone by, Drew Pearson and Jack Anderson,
often referred to as “muckrakers,” investigated and reported on many of the
shenanigans going on in Washington. Do
you think the day will ever come when someone picks up that ball? (Boris ~ Copperopolis, CA)
A. Your timing is uncanny.
THE BLAZE Television Network is starting up investigating
journalism on a new show, "FOR THE RECORD." You can catch them by
subscription on the Internet or on Dish Cable.
If you have other cable T.V., you might consider requesting they add THE
BLAZE, since they are growing very rapidly while FOX NEWS is losing
audience. I enjoy watching Glenn Beck
followed by REAL NEWS. Neither one
shouts down guests, unlike Bill O’Reilly.
