At least 11 people were injured during in a drive-by
shooting in Washington, D.C. yesterday. “We
have confirmed that we have 11 individuals that are injured. We have mostly
gunshot wounds to the legs, extremities, hands, some graze wounds,” according
to Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier.
COMMENTS:
Well, this shooting should be a snap to solve; all guns of any kind owned or possessed in
Washington, D.C. must be registered. Pardon the sarcasm, but I’m trying to make a
point.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why did a New York Judge strike down the 32-ounce soft
drink ban that nitwit Mayor Bloomberg enacted?
(Theo ~ Tremonton, UT)
A. Because the law is "arbitrary and capricious." Bloomberg laid his total lack of knowledge of
the law out for all of us to see when he made it apply to some businesses and
not others and applicable only to some soft drinks and not others. Any law like this has to apply equally to
everyone. Bloomberg vows he’ll make it
stick come hell or high soda.
Q. A TSA agent is now saying air travel is unsafe, that the
TSA is just putting on a show. Can there
be any truth to this? (Kyle ~ El Cajon,
CA)
A. Well, I once flew from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara with my
loaded .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol in my briefcase, and they didn’t stop
me. I didn’t realize it was there until
I opened the briefcase on the plane to get something and there it was. Needless to say, I did not try to fly back
with it. In that process, I went
through security at Vegas and again in Los Angeles. I have no problem with scissors and knives
being banned, either. Nail clippers did
go a tad too far.
Q. I understand there is less reluctance to ban assault
rifles than other types of guns. If they
succeed in banning assault weapons, will that be the end of it? (Leopold ~ Roseville, CA)
A. Not according to Illinois Democrat Representative Jan
Schakowsky; while acknowledging that it couldn’t succeed right away, she thinks
handguns will be next on the agenda. These
cretins seem bound and determined to push this country into another
revolution.

“The pilot is searched. The cabin crew is searched. The
passengers are searched. Nine hundred thousand workers are not searched. And we
are not dealing with that and TSA refuses to tell us why.” ~ Charles Slepian
