New Secretary of State John Kerry has announced $250
million in aid to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. The government in Egypt already has testy
ties with the United States; the Muslim Brotherhood seems to be in charge and
their overall agenda is definitely anti-U.S.
Although Egypt’s Morsi has pledged economic and government reform, steps in that direction
have yet to be taken. Department of
Homeland Security Janet Napolitano also said yesterday that her agency will
continue to release illegal alien criminals because Sequestering leaves her
with insufficient funds. The agency has
already released 2,000 criminal aliens and plans to release 3,000 more.
COMMENTS:
No further comment is necessary. This news speaks volumes about politics in the
U.S. all on its own.

Q. Obama has now backed off from his dire predictions of
disastrous results when Sequester kicked in; now, the story is “in the long
run.” I don’t believe that, either. (Kelly ~ Riverside, CA)
A. What you did not hear was Obama saying, “I’m sorry,
I over-reacted and I’m sorry that I scared everybody.” You didn’t hear; you won’t hear it. Marxist, socialist demagogues never
apologize. Hell, it’s taking him days
just to get over his snit.
Q. With the annual budget now up for solution by the end of
March, and with Obama having lost the Sequestration battle, what do you think
will happen and if they get something done, will it be another kick down the
road? (Sean ~ Paradise, AZ)
A. They’re already planning on somewhat of a kick down the
road; it’s called a “Continuing Resolution.”
What that means is no one can agree on a new budget for the year, so let’s
just continue using the same budget we had last year. The problem is, of course, we lost money with
the budget we had last year, and the year before that. The debt just keeps getting bigger and you know in your gut where they are
eventually going to have to get the money… you, unless you and your family are made of money,
like that TV ad guy. And, where are YOU
going to get it?
Q. There’s a story going around to the effect that Obama has
used ObamaCare to funnel $340 million to a crony. Is there any truth to that? (Milo ~ Kernville, CA)
A. Sara Horowitz of the Freelancer’s Insurance Company and Freelancer’s
Union has, in fact, received a $340 million “loan” to start an insurance exchange. The company has been rated as the “worst”
insurer in New York State for the past two years by state regulators, and has
weathered numerous public relations and customer service crises since it
launched in 2008. However, there is no
substantial information to indicate more than a casual acquaintance with Obama
stemming from his “community organizing” days.
