THE
BLAZE is reporting that a Florida high school student wrestled a loaded
gun away from another teen on the bus ride home this week and was slapped with
a suspension in return. The student with
the loaded 22 caliber pistol had it aimed at point-blank range toward another
student. The Good Samaritan was
suspended for being involved in an “incident” with a weapon.

another planet called Absurdity.

Q. What is your opinion of the schools sending notices home
to parents telling them their child’s Body Mass Index is too high and they need

A. Send the school back a curt note: When the school starts
paying your household bills, they can start telling you how to raise your
family. Ask them why, if they have enough
time to do this kind of intrusion into your family life, they don’t have the
time to provide your child a better education.
And get to the point: Tell them if they don’t like your attitude, that’s
their problem, not yours, and they should consider moving to another
community. It’s time we started to get
in these idiots’ faces.
Q. I can’t believe they are starting to introduce sex
education in preschool in New York. How do you fight such garbage? (Hannah ~ Idaho Falls, ID)
A. Write a letter of anger to the school board, the Mayor,
the Council, and the Editorial pages.
Tell them that, if they don’t reverse course, you’re going to start a
recall petition against them. Show up at
PTA meetings and raise holy hell. Make a
nuisance out of yourself. Send those responsible a box of rotten apples.
Q. I’m still shaking my head at the dumb suggestion Biden
made about home defense. First, it was
fire a shotgun in the air, then it was fire a shotgun through the door. Isn’t a shotgun a lot more difficult to
maneuver in the middle of the night than a semi-automatic sidearm? (Pete ~ Sebastopol, CA)
A. Absolutely. And
shooting a gun into the air is illegal in most cities. An unfortunate lad in Virginia Beach saw two
masked guys outside his window, so he fired his shotgun through the front door
and got arrested for “unsafe discharge of a firearm.” The thing is, you might suspect a bad guy is
at the door, but unless you can see him you really don’t know; it could be your
teenager coming home for the night. God
forbid it could be a black newspaper boy if you’re white, or a white newspaper
boy if you’re black.
