The White House distanced itself Monday from Harry Reid's disputed claim that Mitt Romney didn't pay taxes for a decade. Press Secretary Jay Carney said the Senate Democratic leader "speaks for himself." Republicans have openly accused the Nevada Democrat of lying and suggested that Obama was behind Reid's accusation. Carney said that "only Senator Reid knows his source."
COMMENTS:
The Democrats keep harping that Romney can resolve the issue
by producing ten years of tax returns. I’m
sure that would resolve the issue, alright, but what about Reid’s tax returns? What about Pelosi’s secret foreign
investments? What about Obama’s birth certificate? What about the fact that these dudes have said they are "prepared to take us over the fiscal cliff?" Why doesn’t somebody have the guts to stand
up and tell these despicable “human beings” the truth?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. When are Obama and his sick cronies going to quit blaming
Bush. They’ve been in office for four
years! (Reggie ~ Folsom, CA)
A. That’ll never happen.
Name me one thing… just one thing… that Obama has accepted
responsibility for in his entire public life and I’ll eat crow for dinner. People with dictator personalities don’t
accept responsibility for anything.
Q. The other day, Sarah Palin lambasted the Republican Party
hierarchy for “embracing the status quo.”
Was she out of line? (Cecil ~
Reno, NV)
A. Not at all; I totally agree with her. People are tired of “business as usual.” Yes, we DO want to see someone come in and
take charge of returning our government to the people and stopping Washington
cronyism, and the Republican Party just doesn’t get it.
Q. It’s been said repeatedly that Putin plans to rebuild
Russia into the Soviet Union. Is there
any evidence of this? (Delores ~ Oregon City, OR)
A. He’s in the process of establishing military bases in Cuba,
Vietnam and the Seychelles. Yes, we
could be looking at another Cuban missile crisis, and Obama certainly won’t
know what to do about it. Maybe he’ll
get on a plane and go bow to Putin?
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“I
invested in many companies, and I'm happy this one worked. This is capitalism.
You invest in stock, it goes up, it goes down. You know, if you don't like
capitalism, you don't like making money with stock, move to Cuba or China.” ~ Terry McAuliffe
