Seven American soldiers and four Afghans were killed after a
Black Hawk helicopter was shot down by the Taliban. The helicopter went down in northern
Kandahar, a stronghold of the Taliban which was a strong backer of Al Qaeda
until the U.S. invaded in 2001. The
Taliban has been showing recent signs of resuming its backing of Al Qaeda.
COMMENTS:
And our military, led by its Commander-in-Chief Barack
Hussein Obama, continues to be handcuffed in what it can do and under orders to
draw down troop strength and start getting out.
Why don’t we just wave the white flag, turn tail and run like the
yellow-bellied Yankees Obama wants us to be?
Getting out of Iraq was one thing; Afghanistan gave birth to 9/11. Al Qaeda and the Taliban need to be pounded
into the sand... and nuked.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. There’s a move on by Democrats to prevent any questions
about the national debt at Obama – Romney debates. How in the Sam Hell can these even be
considered to be a debate on the issues?
(Yolanda ~ Newcastle, CA)
A. Don’t get your tail in a knot. It’s not a done deal and I don’t think Romney
will go for it. But, it does show that
those guys are terrified about the possibility of Romney’s tramping Obama in
November. They’re all squealing like
stuffed pigs. Let’s all work together to keep the pressure on.
Q. Why isn’t the media covering the story of the shooter who
went into Family Research Council and opened fire? Is it because Family Research is a
conservative organization? (Delores ~
Sacramento, CA)
A. Yes. The shooter
allegedly uttered remarks about disagreement with their Christian Conservative policies. My God, if the liberals are going to take to
shooting conservatives, we’d better arm ourselves to the teeth. I think I’ll make a call to the Justice
Department to see if I can’t pick up an automatic rifle or two at one of their
famous Fast & Furious gun shops.
Q. I read yesterday that Julian Assange, the guy who founded
Wiki-Leaks and published all of our national secrets, has been granted asylum
in Ecuador and that the British have been threatening to raid the Ecuadorian embassy
in Britain and haul him off to Switzerland. This is all very confusing to
me. How do the Swiss get involved? (Mario ~ Colusa, CA)
A. He’s wanted in Switzerland in regards to an alleged rape
and molestation case. Ecuador says
Assange is a victim of political persecution and if the Brits get him, he’ll
end up in the U.S. getting an unfair trial.
I’d like to have him back, but not for the reasons you think; I think he
might be able to produce Obama’s real
birth certificate.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“There are
some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe
democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its
secrets, and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows.” ~ Katherine Graham
