REID ATTACKS SENIOR CITIZENS

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., trying to mock Republican donors, resorted to senility jokes in a recent interview.  “Because of the Citizens United decision, Karl Rove and the Republicans are looking forward to a breakfast the day after the election,” Reid told The Huffington Post. “They are going to assemble 17 angry old white men for breakfast, some of them will slobber in their food, some will have scrambled eggs, some will have oatmeal; their teeth are gone. But these 17 angry old white men will say, ‘Hey, we just bought America. Wasn’t so bad. We still have a whole lot of money left.’”

COMMENTS:
To which this angry old white man responds, “Just when, Senator, are you ever going to accomplish something positive for this country you say you love so much?”

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you say to Pelosi, Reid and Obama who demand that Romney open up his tax returns and tell Americans how much money he has in offshore banks?  (Pedra ~ Laguna Beach, CA)
A. Madame Pelosi, how much money do you have invested in foreign accounts and where is it?  Mr. Reid, why do you refuse to open up your tax returns?  Barry, old buddy… when are you going to prove to us that you have the legal citizenship requirements to be President of the United States?  As for Romney, he took Reid to task yesterday and proved to show a little backbone in his spine.

Q. Dick Cheney said the other day that it was a mistake to put Palin in the V.P. slot in the last election.  What’s your opinion?  (Amy ~ Walnut Creek, CA)
A. I think you could have run Jesus Christ Himself for Vice President and McCain still would have lost.  It was McCain who was the bad choice of the Republicans; that was the real problem.  What scares the hell out of me is that it is the same wrecking crew that engineered McCain into the nomination that engineered Romney into the nomination.  On that basis alone, we need to take every possible step to vote in a Republican House and Republican Senate, just in case Obama does win.

Q. Why isn’t the White House coming out with a firm stand on all of this lavish agency spending by the GSA and other agencies?  (Ermajean ~ Hercules, CA)
A. Because that would be like the pot calling the kettle black.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
One of the most important phases of maturing is that of growth from self-centering to an understanding relationship to others. A person is not mature until he has both an ability and a willingness to see himself as one among others and to do unto those others as he would have them do to him."  ~ Harry A. Overstreet
