A U.S. soldier, a Staff Sergeant stationed at a base in
southern Afghanistan, went into the nearby city and massacred 16 civilians
before returning to his military base and being arrested.
COMMENTS:
This follows the burning of copies of the Koran which has
inflamed Afghani dissidents. It is
normal in cases where a U.S. military member commits a murder or other felony in
a foreign country to turn the member over to local civilian authorities for
prosecution and trial. This has
evidently not yet been done. Now would
be a good time for Obama to totally withdraw all troops from Afghanistan so
that the Taliban can take back over and Al Qaeda can reopen its terrorist
training camps there.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Just how long do you think we need to detail terrorists
at Guantanamo? (Melinda ~ Susanville,
CA)
A. Until hostilities are ended.
Q. Four Iranian nuclear scientists have been
assassinated. Do you think the U.S. had
anything to do with that? (Marie Ann ~
Chicago, IL)
A. Under Obama, anything is possible. If we did have anything to do with it,
however, we have become complicit to murder.
We have not declared war against
Iran and therefore have no basis at all in our law for killing Iranians on
Iranian soil. The Israelis, however, have no such constraints.
Q. Cuba is drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico in areas
where Obama has not approved drilling. I
understand they have hit a bonanza. What
can they possibly do with all of that oil that should be ours? (Bill ~ Redding, CA)
A. They’re selling most of it to China and some to
Russia.
