"On a fundamental level, the policy appears to invade consumer privacy by automatically sharing personal information consumers input into one Google product with all Google products” according to the National Association of Attorneys General. Google is trying to placate those who are upset with their policy by saying they are not collecting new information, just putting all of the information they have about someone into one place.
COMMENTS:
Although this blog is posted on a Google product, I have to
say that Google is now so big that it has lost total touch with the people it
serves. It’s like Netflix jacking up
their movie charges by 60%, Northern Tissue slicing an inch off the width of
toilet tissue, Bank of America charging you to use your debit card and ATT
jacking up the costs of data transmission on your cellphone; they just flat don’t
give a damn whether you like it or not. Google
has a billion customers and, as far as I’m concerned, we all need to be looking
for alternative products. They need to
be put out of business.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think of Louis Farrakhan? (Mort ~ Redding, CA)
A. Since Hillary is resigning, he’ll make a great Secretary
of State for Obama’s second term. He
epitomizes everything Obama stands for.
Q. Even Ben Bernanke is warning that the U.S. could well go
off the fiscal cliff at any time. When
is the rest of the country going to wake up and understand the facts? We have to quit spending ourselves into
oblivion. (Horace ~ Centralia, WA)
A. The media is not allowed, I repeat not allowed, to print the economic facts. Only Fox
News and Newsmax are really out
there telling the truth. When the populace is being lied to and deceived,
they become ignorant of the facts. It’s
not their fault. We are being controlled and manipulated.
Q. There’s a major push on in Congress to make Washington’s
Birthday a separate holiday on February 20th. What’s your opinion? (Georgia ~ Sunnyvale, CA)
A. We have a Congress that can’t submit a budget, that
cannot cut spending, that cannot repeal ObamaCare, and on and on and on. And they are messing around with such
meaningless malarkey? That’s why we have
a Congress with a 10% approval rating and that’s why we need to get rid of
them.
