SYRIA FEEDING IRANIAN NUCLEAR PLANS

The Langley Intelligence Group Network, (www.lignet.com) “has uncovered information suggesting Syria could provide Iran with sensitive nuclear technology and a secret stockpile of uranium to assist in the building of weapons of mass destruction. This is an urgent concern as the United States watches the situation in Syria deteriorate and terrorist groups like al Qaeda get a foothold.”

COMMENTS:
Syria and Iran are practically joined together at the hip.  If Syria falls apart and Al Qaeda gets a foothold, what happens to the uranium and whatever technology Syria has?  Will we be sitting ducks for a nuclear event here in the United States within the next few years?  We obviously don’t have the leadership in Washington that is either interested in dealing with these Middle East situations or has the ability to do so.  Sleep well tonight.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Rick Santorum wants to ban hardcore porn.  How do you feel about that?  (Mo ~ Beverly Hills, CA)
A. Well, I’m an old fart, so that stuff doesn’t excite me anymore. Now then, what is hardcore porn?  Your definition of that may be entirely different than mine.  Beyond that, if we’re going to censor porn, why not censor inflammatory speech?  I have to get back to the fundamental freedoms of speech and freedom of the press here; if we abridge one freedom, what is to prevent us from getting rid of all of them?  The answer is not to ban “hardcore” porn, but to instill in our country an understanding that literature of this nature degrades our society and tears at the fabric of our morals and standards upon which this great nation was built.  From that point forward, the decision as to what to read or view should belong to the citizen and not the government.

Q. Obama has said he will release oil from the Federal reserves.  How do you feel about that?  (Sark ~ Kansas City, KS)
A. It will not make any significant difference in the price of gas.  The amount of oil in that storage is relatively minimal.  It’s somewhat akin to a pig in a poke.

Q. As for the soldier who allegedly killed 16 innocent Afghanistan citizens and who was spirited out of that country, what do you think will happen now?  (Sly ~ Phoenix, AZ)
A. They’ll come up with some psychological defense and he’ll get a few years in a nut house.  Does that scenario sound like America today?  Do you think we need to change out our governmental officials and our standards?
