NEITHER CELL PHONES OR GUNS ARE MURDERERS

A gun cannot pull its own trigger, despite anti-gun zealots who want to ban the Second Amendment. Now, a new study shows that taking cell phones out of use in cars and require hands-free devices does not reduce auto accidents, or their severity.

COMMENTS:
As if we didn’t already know. But, here’s a thought: If you get rid of cars, you won’t have car crashes and if you get rid of humans, you won’t have murders. That’s a fact. If you are intent on killing someone, you can get the job done without a gun and if you are not paying attention while you drive, you can get into an accident.

Q. I am so disturbed by the Casey Anthony verdict. Please don’t be sarcastic or flippant. How did this happen? (Grace ~ Huntington Beach, CA)
A. Everyone in that courtroom, being the Judge, the Prosecutor, Defense lawyer, and the jury…They are all human and humans make mistakes. Think about all of the innocent people who got convicted. How many of them paid with their lives, we will never know. While our system of justice is not pure, it is the best one around. Yes, it needs improvement and we should ask these questions to see how we might improve.


Q. No one wants tax increases, but Obama keeps hammering for tax increases. Why doesn’t he get the message; doesn’t he read the polls? (Brette ~ Sparks, NV)
A. For the same reason he didn’t hear America ranting and raving against his health care plan; he’s an asshole, pure and simple.  (Nothing sarcastic or flippant in that answer.)

Q. What is the story behind the so-called crystal skulls? (Thor ~ Truckee, CA)
A. There have been 13 crystal skulls found in different parts of the world. Ancient astronaut buffs theorize that they were created at about the same time for the purpose of retaining digital information that might someday be released to mankind. They believe there are actually 20 and that if they are all in the same location at the same time, they might even possess some magical or mystic powers. I should mention that my ex-wife did not have a crystal skull, but she certainly did possess some mystical powers.
