Get onto the Internet and try to
send an Email to Customer Service at Burger King, Amazon.com,
Office Depot or just about any other business. What they have done is to hide
their Customer Service so that you just have to go through holy hell to contact
them. Then, I’m sure; they’ve laid off
some employees. In some cases, websites
have a nice Customer Service page where they invite you to send them an email
and then they’ve obviously removed the link.
COMMENTS:
I was in Burger King last week and particularly pleased over
their new ketchup tubs and wanted to tell them that. Well, there’s no email address. You can call their corporate office between
certain hours on weekdays and listen to their endless telephone menu. So, they don’t get the compliments,
either. I guess, as nice as their
gesture was, I have to say if you don’t want to talk to your customers, why
should your customers care one iota about you?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think
Obama has to say about the latest bad economic news with unemployment up to
9.2%? (Gwen ~ Burney, CA)
A. “Well, we have
these little bumps in the road. But, I’m
going to make jobs my number one priority.
Yes, sir. I’m going to get right
on it, just like I promised every month in 2009, 2010 and so far in 2011. Yes, sir.”
Q. It’s hard to
believe that the very last space shuttle mission has been launched. What do you think they are thinking about on
the mission? (Kylie ~ San Clemente, CA)
A. “I sure hope they
don’t lay off all of the ground crews before we get back.”
Q. These damned
governments have gotten so sick. I hear they’re about to throw a woman in jail
in Michigan for growing a vegetable garden in front of her house? (Claire ~ Redding, CA)
A. Yes, she is facing
93 days of hard time for planting against an ordinance that says all plants in
front yards must be of suitable material.
Take THAT, you unsuitable, lousy tomatoes, radishes and onions! It just makes you want to pick up your
lettuce and pee.
