There they were, well over a year ago, and they raised the nation’s debt limit while acknowledging that it was not everything they needed, but that they would address it again right after the November 2010 elections. They did not take it up again on a serious note until about two months ago and it has been meandering around the halls of Congress ever since. Now, suddenly, it is an “emergency.” Geithner and Obama are swearing the world will end, just as they were swearing the world would end if we didn’t pass TARP and the Stimulus Bill. Obama is pointing figures, overtly making threats and walking out of meetings after whining like a baby.
COMMENTS:
The Democrats, Obama and Geithner have no plan of their own
except “stick it to the American public.”
All of the world is a stage, and Obama is play-acting to the ultimate end and our detriment. Well, I guess the only question that remains is: Are we going to let them stick it to us again? Or are we going to start raising holy hell
right now? Get on the phone, use your
email, send telegrams, send faxes… Do whatever it takes. We need to get in their damned faces and make
sure they understand how we feel: (1) Quit spending, (2) Balance the budget,
(3) Reduce the debt, (4) Do not, do NOT raise taxes, (5) Pass a Balanced Budget
Amendment to the Constitution. Don’t
mince words; mince pie for dessert.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now, the dirty double-dealing Democrats are going after
Herman Cain with a vengeance. They are
so ugly and nasty; can’t we just run them all out of the country? (Phil ~ Reno, NV)
A. Right after the illegal Mexicans? Now that more and more Republicans are lining
up behind him, that takes away their lying sneers about Republicans being
racists, and they don’t know how to deal with it.
Q. Do you think that ObamaCare can ever be undone? (Lester ~ Belmont, CA)
A. It won’t be easy, but it must be done. ObamaCare is positively the worst piece of legislation
ever passed and thrust upon the American people. It was premised on lies and filled with
lies. But, that does not mean that we do
not need a vast overhaul of our medical system in this country; we do. However, such an overhaul should be apolitical and
fair and should not be used to increase government power over the people or to
transfer wealth.
Q. There is a new rumble in Washington that a debt-deficit
reduction is close which includes a tax increase. Wouldn’t this be seen as a total disregard of
the will of the American people? (Fern ~
Las Vegas, NV)
A. Yes, and any Member of Congress who votes for it can kiss
their political careers goodbye, forever.
The American people have had enough of their lies and bullshit which, by
the way, would leave ObamaCare uncut and intact while again cutting Medicare.
