U.S. ADVERTISES FOR FOOD STAMP SIGN-UPS IN MEXICO

Breitbart.com is reporting that although the new omnibus spending bill prohibits advertising in foreign countries for food stamps, it also provides for the continuation of advertising in Mexico for food stamps.  Senator Jeff Sessions said: “It has become increasingly clear that the mission of the food stamp program has moved from targeted welfare assistance for those in need into an aggressive drive to expand enrollment regardless of need.  To cite just one example, a character in a USDA-produced Spanish language ‘radio novella’ tries to convince a friend to enroll in food stamps even though that individual says ‘I don’t need anyone’s help.’”

COMMENTS:

“Continuation?”  Who in this country ever knew that we were advertising in Mexico to encourage Mexicans to come to the U.S. and sign up for food stamps in the first place?  This should be front page news.  When will these endless revelations of Obama bullshit ever end?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. What is your opinion on Harvey Weinstein saying he is going to “take down the NRA?”  (Jan ~ Klamath Falls, OR)
A. Okay, there Harvey… Take your best shot.  I think you’ll need more than a ten-round magazine.

Q. This amazes me.  The guy testifying in Congress says that the ObamaCare system is not able to tell them how many people have signed up for ObamaCare and made their initial payment.  Well, if they don’t know that figure, how can they possibly claim how many people have signed up at all?  (Fannie ~ Dunsmuir, CA)
A. I’m going to answer your question with a question: Can you name one instance, just a single one, where statistical facts provided by Obama or his administration on any subject have turned out to be correct?   We have 57 states?  Unemployment is 6.7%?

Q.  The Democrats are going to try and impeach Christie?  (Oland ~ Minneapolis, MN)
A.  If they make this move, as they are talking about, and we do not impeach Obama for his many transgressions against the law and the Constitution… we deserve to lose our freedoms.

TODAY’S QUOTE:

The only conduct that merits the drastic remedy of impeachment is that which subverts our system of government or renders the president unfit or unable to govern.” ~ Charles Ruff
