A new website, ForeignPolicy.com, is reporting a story not covered anywhere in the mainstream media. According to FP, “Around 1:00 AM on April 16, at least one individual (possibly two) entered two different manholes at the PG&E Metcalf power substation, southeast of San Jose, and cut fiber cables in the area around the substation. That knocked out some local 911 services, landline service to the substation, and cell phone service in the area, a senior U.S. intelligence official told Foreign Policy. The intruder(s) then fired more than 100 rounds from what two officials described as a high-powered rifle at several transformers in the facility. Ten transformers were damaged in one area of the facility, and three transformer banks -- or groups of transformers -- were hit in another, according to a PG&E spokesman. Cooling oil then leaked from a transformer bank, causing the transformers to overheat and shut down. State regulators urged customers in the area to conserve energy over the following days, but there was no long-term damage reported at the facility and there were no major power outages. There were no injuries reported. That was the good news. The bad news is that officials don't know who the shooter(s) were, and most importantly, whether further attacks are planned.
COMMENTS:
Now, this happened last April. Did you hear anything about it? Until now, the FBI had been treating the
event as an act of vandalism, but has finally opened an investigation into the
possibility it was terrorism; it happened one day after the Boston Marathon
bombing. What is even more intriguing is
that several such attacks have occurred across the nation and have been
dismissed as acts of vandalism or simply ignored from a law enforcement perspective.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think Obama will do about the Al Qaeda attack
and takeover of Fallujah? (Sam ~ Joplin,
MO)
A. Nothing. Al Qaeda
was defeated with the killing of Bin Laden, remember? Therefore Al Qaeda does not exist and the
takeover did not happen, somewhat like the Massacre at Benghazi.
Q. Any idea what progress is being made in the destruction
of Syria’s chemical weapons? (Forrest ~
Las Vegas, NV)
A. Virtually insignificant.
500 tons of the stuff that was supposed to be moved out of the country
by year’s end has not budged. There are “concerns”
that Assad may be intending not to honor his agreement and that the "agreement" may
be close to extinction… kind of like that infamous “red line.”
Q. I am ashamed of myself.
I thought that health insurance costs were sky rocketing and premiums
were way too high; I thought that ObamaCare would cure all of that, because
that is what we were all promised. What
an astronomical lie. How can we stop
this monstrosity and get back to where we were?
(Kelly ~ Port Angeles, WA)
A. There is only one way.
Cast out the enemies within us.
Return the Senate solidly to non-Democrat control, and expand that lead
in the House as well. To do less will be
to participate in the destruction of our country.
