For several days now, radiation levels in the U.S. have been on the increase. Levels in Pacifica, California soared to the 100 mark where normal background radiation is in the 30’s. Levels in St. George, Utah have doubled. The levels along the west coast, although rising, have so far stayed within reasonable limits. The rising levels are probably attributable to the increasing escape of radioactive steam from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant, which may be nearing a meltdown.
COMMENTS:
Still no word from our wonderful government about this
looming threat. The plant itself has
advised those living on the West Coast to purchase duct tape and clear plastic
sheeting to seal off the insides of windows and doors in their homes. They also advise frequent washing of exposed areas of skin. Is that ominous or not?

Q. There’s this illegal alien who now has a license to
practice law in this country. How in

A. I agree with the concept of what you are saying. However, the whole story is not getting out
there. He was only 18 months old when he
was brought here by his illegal parents.
This fellow filed for a visa some 20 years ago; so far, the Department of State has not ruled
on that request. He got on with his
life, attended law school and graduated, and then passed the California State
Bar Exam. The fact that our government
has not responded to his application for 20 years is, in my mind, criminal in
and of itself. In the meantime, there’s
probably a family just down the street with eight illegals drawing welfare,
smoking pot and milking the system… and getting away with it.
Q. The Obama Administration is back on the anti-gun
wagon. They’re proposing new “Executive
Orders” regarding who can be determined ineligible to own guns due to mental
problems. What is your opinion? (Leonardo ~ Casper, WY)
A. I haven’t read the orders. I do know that they violate the HIPPA Law,
enacted by Congress, and are therefore unconstitutional. I doubt that they clearly define what mental
problems are and who gets to decide. The
way the laws are being written in the last few months, you could be writing a
blog critical of the Obama Administration, be deemed mentally unbalanced by a
Secret Service Agent and have your guns confiscated. Now, I do need to say that there are some
classes of people who should not be allowed to have guns. But, that needs to be clearly defined and to
provide for a legitimate avenue for appeal.
This is just more Obama Marxist oppression as far as I am concerned.
Q. Obama seems bound and determined to continue down his
road of oppression of the American people.
He’s now seeking court action to maintain his “right” to have NSA spy on
us. What can we do about it? (Pauline ~ Cottonwood, AZ)
A. If you simply roll over and play dead, Obama wins by
default. We must not be afraid to stand
up and loudly protest. Our national freedom depends
on the refusal of the electorate to accept dictatorship.
