Washington insiders have been insistent that Romney will be the Republican Party nominee for President ever since the race began. Now, with Newt Gingrich in the apparent driver’s seat, Tom Coburn came out Sunday on the Chris Wallace show of FOX NEWS attacking Gingrich’s ability to lead the nation. Coburn claims that Gingrich vacillates from one day to the next and does not have a good leadership style.
COMMENTS:
That is the best argument yet for making sure that Gingrich
sews up the nomination. I cannot imagine
that there is one single person in this country, Republican or Democrat, who
gives a damn about the “Washington insiders.”
It’s those guys and their culture of irresponsibility and corruption
that we citizens need to be hell-bent on removing at all costs.

Q. We all know what a sad situation our national debt is
in. But, they keep spending and spending
and flatly refuse to cut the deficit or debt.
Isn’t there some way we can force them to? (Charles ~ Phoenix, AZ)
A. Yes. We can file
our tax returns in April and if we owe them any money, we can refuse to pay it
until they cut their spending. Those
with refunds will collect them, they won’t have the revenues coming in and they’ll
get the message in a big hurry with the cash drain. There will be some penalties and interest,
but it will be worth it if we succeed. They
can’t put us all in jail, either.
Q. Who do you think Herman Cain will endorse? (Bruce ~ Burney, CA)
A. It won’t be
Mitt Romney. I think he will get behind Newt. But then again, I thought that the San Diego
Padres were going to win the World Series last year, too.
Q. Why are the candidates upset that Donald Trump is going
to lead a Presidential debate? (Jerry ~
Boise, ID)
A. Because they are afraid he might use his pointed little head to ask them pointed
little questions they cannot answer.
