Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is allowing the IMF to draw upon previously approved billions of American dollars to support the IMF. In making the announcement, Geithner also indicated that additional approvals are out of the question right now due to U.S. politics and sentiments against bailouts, but also hinted more money might be available right after the November 2012 elections. In the meanwhile, his boss, Barack Obama, lambasted the Republicans by claiming that their “supply side economics” do not work.
COMMENTS:
These two guys have just tried to make you, me and the rest
of the country believe that they are the economic gurus of the west. Tim Geithner can’t even file his own income
taxes. Obama’s economic game is to take
every American dime he can get his hands on and pass it along to his
cronies. The two of them are running
this country into bankruptcy and they’re trying to sound like Donald
Trump. These actions on their parts only
underscore their complete inability to come to grips with reality. Wouldn’t you really like to be smoking what
they smoke?
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you think the payroll tax cuts should be
extended? (Willy ~ Bieber, CA)
A. Absolutely, with one provision. We have to find a way to pay for it; we
cannot keep on spending money without funds in the bank. The credit card is running on empty. How about defunding ObamaCare?
Q. How could Herman Cain have salvaged his nomination? (Dixie ~ Norwalk, CA)
A. From the very outset, at the very beginning and without
addressing the initial charge in particular, “You know, I’ve done some things
in my life that I am not proud of. But
that was then and this is now and my wife is standing behind me and my marriage
is strong.” That would have muted the
subsequent allegations and, I think, also garnered some sympathy.
Q. Where were you on Pearl Harbor Day, and what can you
remember about it? (Virginia ~ Port
Orchard, WA)
A. In my mother’s womb.
The view left a lot to be desired.
