IRAN RATTLES SABRE IN STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Iran is saying it is going to deploy its army and navy in practice maneuvers on how to shut down the Strait of Hormuz.  Parviz Sarvari, an Iranian legislator, says: "Soon we will hold a military maneuver on how to close the Strait of Hormuz. If the world wants to make the region insecure, we will make the world insecure."  Such a move would shut off critical supplies of oil from the region to the rest of the world and severely impair western nations.

COMMENTS:
Don’t try to keep Obama from his upcoming 17-day vacation to Hawaii.  He’ll deal with these issues after he gets back and resolves the country’s job crisis.  (See prior two posts).  You know, if we had a real President, the Iranians, the Koreans and the Chinese wouldn’t even think of what they have been threatening over the last few days.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson who is running for President is dropping out of the GOP and joining the Libertarians.  How will this affect the Republican Presidential race?  (Thelma ~ Lander, WY)
A. Yawn.

Q. I see that Janet Napolitano and her associates are going after Sheriff Joe Arpaio for civil rights violations.  Is there any substance to all of this?  (Kyle ~ Auburn, CA)
A. I can’t see any substance.  You are aware he is trying to enforce immigration laws that Obama and his fellow potentates don’t want enforced.  You are also aware that Obama and his cronies are trying to change election laws to allow illegal immigrants a shot at illegal voting in November.  Arpaio is in the way of things and his enforcement of the law simply has to be stopped somehow.  The Chicago Mob lives on.

Q. I have been following Obama’s attempts to gain federal control over the Internet.  The Stop Online Piracy Act is now in the House Judiciary Committee. I’m afraid that this will just open the can of worms and allow federal regulations to totally reshape the Internet we have.  What do you think?  (Grace ~ Coos Bay, OR)
A. I share your concern.  You should be emailing, writing, faxing and calling your Oregon Congressional delegation.  We need to work together and stand together against these attacks on our democracy.
