Unidentified military human body parts and, it appears, bodies have been dumped in a Virginia landfill. Reports are that this practice ended approximately three years ago. The military is saying they were unable to identify the remains and unable to store them.
COMMENTS:
This story has previously been reported by me, but the
number has risen. Israel points out that
modern DNA techniques make it a very rare case when a body part cannot be
identified. The revelations came after a
four-year inquiry by the widow of Sgt. Scott Smith, who was killed in July 2006
as part of a bomb-disposal unit. She kept asking about where his remains were
placed and eventually got the answer. This is your United States
government in action.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Things have been quiet with North Korea lately. What are they up to? (Antonio ~ Salt Lake City, UT)
A. They’ve been developing an ICBM missile capable of
reaching the continental U.S. that is mobile.
There was also a statement issued in Pyongyang last week that North
Korea is continuing with uranium enrichment.
Don’t you wonder why we are not hearing about these things?
Q. Are you ready to endorse Newt Gingrich for President
yet? (Irene ~ Chester, CA)
A. No. I think we
need to wait a week or two to see what the anti-Newt forces dredge up against
him. This time, both the Democrats and
the Republican hierarchy are pulling out all of the stops against him.
Q. What did you think of the Holder grilling on the Hill (yesterday)? (Benny ~ Sacramento, CA)
A. I think it lacked the substance I thought we would
get. They should have really worked him
over. Maybe it’s because it’s Christmas. He managed to say he is not providing all
documents that Congress wants and he offered no reason for that contemptible
stance. And, he walked out at the end of
the “grilling” with no visible cuts or bruises.
