BLAGOJEVICH GETS AN UNJUST SENTENCE

Rod Blagojevich got fined $20,000 and sentenced to 14 years in jail as a result of his conviction on bribery charges for trying to get money in return for the vacated seat of former U.S. Senator Barack Hussein Obama.

COMMENTS:
Sure he was convicted and sure he had prior corruption and racketeering charges against him.  But, he didn’t do anything that most Congressmen haven’t already done themselves.  If they get caught, all they have to do is to resign and start drawing their enormous pensions; they never go to jail.  So, the sentencing is unjust.  I think what got him in trouble was when he was referring to Obama on one of those wiretaps and said, “Fuck him.”

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How can we ever resolve the endless issue with the United States Post Office?  (Sally ~ Redding, CA)
A. Sell it to FedEx or UPS, form a new company with one or both of them and the USPS, or turn it over to one of them for management.  As far as postal employee benefits, we pay FedEx or UPS for the difference between what the employees currently get and what those companies currently pay their employees.  New employees of the new company come in under the pay and plans offered by the company.  Don’t forget: Our illustrious government once owned a bordello in Nevada that had been previously operated profitably for decades; it took them less than six weeks to turn the sex and booze establishment into a money loser.  If you can’t make money selling sex and booze, you don’t know how to run a business.

Q. How can Pelosi threaten Gingrich with telling the country about confidential Ethics Committee information obtained years ago?  Isn’t that illegal?  (Garth ~ North Las Vegas, NV)
A. Nancy Pelosi is one of Washington’s Three Musketeers… Obama, Reid and Pelosi.  Therefore, the law does not apply to her.  And, by the way, she can do all of the insider trading she wants and there’s not a damned thing you or anyone else can do about it.  So there. Pfft!

Q. Why haven’t the Republicans gone after Mitt Romney the way they have Bachmann, Perry, Cain and Gingrich?  (Terry ~ San Diego, CA)
A. They would have you believe they are more afraid of Romney than anyone else.  I think that is a “red herring.”  I think they have enough on Mitt to bury him and they are just sitting on it hoping we will go ahead and nominate him.  I think they really feared Cain; whenever his name came up on liberal media shows, they all went ballistic.  With Newt’s subsequent rapid rise in all of the polls and with his momentum, I think they are now going to unload on him with everything they can muster.  Pelosi is foaming at the mouth and Reid is beside himself.  Obama, on the other hand, is busy directing a movie depicting him as a national hero for getting Bin Laden, set to be released just before the November elections.
