Proposed new I.R.S. regulations threaten to undermine free speech by redefining the words “political candidate.” The new rule would define “candidate” as “an individual who identifies himself or is proposed by another for selection, nomination, election, or appointment to any public office or office in a political organization, or to be a Presidential or Vice-Presidential elector, whether or not the individual is ultimately selected, nominated, elected, or appointed.”
COMMENTS:
So, if you say to Bill that I would make a good candidate
for Senator, and I am an officer or affiliated with the American Legion, that
would mean the Legion could no longer qualify for tax exempt status even when I
have no intention of ever running
for political office. Under the current
rules, I could actually be involved in politics as long as the primary purpose
of the tax-exempt organization was for social welfare purposes. Obama and the I.R.S. clearly intend to continue on their campaigns to silence any opposition.

Q. What’s your opinion of A&E suspending the DUCK
DYNASTY star over his anti-gay statements?”

A. That is taken out of context. He quoted a Biblical phrase which included
adulterers, drunks, gays, etc. Secondly,
the remarks were in response to a question about his beliefs. Third, the remarks were not made on the DUCK
DYNASTY show. The man is entitled to his
beliefs, he has the freedom to say what he thinks and believes, and he was not
in the middle of a DUCK DYNASTY show when he said it, which would have given A&E
some right to squawk. They have clearly
shown their hypocrisy; when you get back to Martin Bashir, he made absolutely despicable
and vindictive remarks on air and MSNBC refused to take him off the air until
there was a national public outrage. The
fact that the gays are the only ones in the groups he mentioned who are currently
raising hell is revealing.
Q. Do you think there is any way Obama can regain his
credibility? (Wally ~ Santa Fe, NM)
A. He never had any to begin with. His whole life story is full of lies. I believe it to be psychopathic. This, coupled with his egotistical narcissism
makes it almost impossible for him not to lie and he’s not afraid to throw associates
under the bus in order to perpetrate his lies. Hence: blame Bush, blame
Limbaugh, blame Congress, blame racism and blame those who carry their Bibles
and guns.
Q. Will the Republicans be able to take control of both
houses of Congress in 2014 and stop ObamaCare?

A. Here we are, barely 11 months before the elections and
the Republicans are in a deep split with no signs of getting their act
together. Without getting their act
together, the odds are against them gaining control of both Houses and yes,
they could even lose the House of Representatives. What’s worse… you don’t hear the alarm bells
sounding, either. On the surface, at
least, there appears to be no effort to mend fences and find common
ground or party unity.
