According to a McClatchy/Marist poll, Hillary Clinton would handily beat her major possible opponents if the Presidential Election were held today: Christie, Rubio, Bush, Paul, Ryan, Perry, Cruz and Palin.
COMMENTS:
What’s interesting to me is that this comes after the
Benghazi Massacre and Republican pronouncements that the mishandling and cover-up
would mean the end of Clinton. It would
appear that the Republicans had better… get their shit together.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Is it true that the Republicans have been rooting for the
failure of ObamaCare? (Lea ~ Littleton,
CO)
A. Yes. They feel the
law is an absolute scam on the American healthcare system and a thinly
disguised money and power grab that does a world of harm. Therefore, it must fail, and I agree with
them. We do need healthcare reform, but
we need to start over. Maybe we should
start by changing the government’s philosophy from "healthcare is a taxable
commodity" to "healthcare is necessary for a comfortable and productive
life."
Q. Should Edward Snowden be punished? (Roland ~
Farmington, NM)
A. He should be showered with a tickertape parade in New York. He disclosed the horrible and extensive
violation of the public trust existing in the intelligence community. Note that it is the intelligence community and
the government crying foul, not the public.
Q. Why hasn’t Obama signed up for ObamaCare yet? (Tyler ~ Forest Hills, CA)
A. Because he can’t get on the website. Maybe there are no companies in the U.S. willing to insure him. Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if he
claimed “executive privilege.”
