THE TRUTH: VIDEO NOT TO BLAME!

The original story, evidently a “cover story” coming out of the Administration, was that a U.S. made video mocking the Prophet Mohammed was responsible for the protests in Egypt and, perhaps, the assassinations and violence in Libya.  Then came the supposition that the two events were coordinated, perhaps by Al Qaeda.  Then came the revelation that Obama has been skipping his own White House intelligence and security briefings.  Finally comes the news that our intelligence on what was going to occur in Libya was sorely lacking.  In the early stages, Obama’s team tore into Romney for voicing his concerns over how things were being handled long before anything was said by Obama in direct response to the events themselves.  Now we know that it was an organized, planned and well-rehearsed military-style attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.

COMMENTS:
The U.S. should have closed all embassies and consulates in both Egypt and Libya... even, perhaps, Yemen.  Until things get resolved and stabilized, we have no business exposing our diplomatic staffs to the threat of imminent violence or death.  It’s not a matter of turning tail and running, it’s a matter of prudence.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Former Navy Seals have been raising a lot of flack lately about Obama taking full credit for the Osama operation and about White House leaks of classified information.  Now I hear they have started a Super PAC?  (Carlysle ~ Rocklin, CA)
A. The Super PAC was created to represent those who have lost their lives or put their lives on the line for freedom.  They do not look at themselves as being Republican or Democrat.  The major thrust of current activities is to restore real leadership to the White House and to that end they are dedicated to removing Obama from office.  As for me, I can’t understand how the man who had several chances to get Osama and who didn’t, upon the advice and instruction of Valerie Jarrett, can take the glory when he was finally pressured into taking Osama out only because of the political risk if he refused.  Osama should have been taken out at the first opportunity, pure and simple.

Q. Do you think we should cut aid to Egypt and Libya?  (Velma ~ Durango, CO)
A. I don’t think we have enough facts yet about who is behind these protests and killings to make a judgment.  My fear is that by sticking our noses into internal Middle Eastern affairs during the so-called “Arab Spring,” we unleashed a formidable enemy.  And, frankly, we have the worst possible President in history at the worst possible time to deal with these things.

Q. Is it true that, just before Romney’s press conference on Wednesday, reporters were recorded conspiring among themselves as how to best make Romney look bad?  (Dustin ~ Sparks, NV)
A. Yes.  This proves what we already know: the media is under the total control of, and operates as a department of the White House.
