PROTESTS SPREAD: 20 COUNTRIES

Largely unreported or under-reported for most of yesterday, Islamic anti-American and anti-Western protests spread across the Middle East and Africa, including: the German Embassy in the Sudan; the U.S. Embassies in Tunisia, Yemen and Sudan; Lebanon; Sinai and elsewhere.  Even the Pope’s scheduled trip to Lebanon was threatened.  A military attack in Afghanistan killed two American soldiers.  Protests against the United States are expected to erupt in Jerusalem and even Israel.

COMMENTS:
Although it is becoming increasingly evident that these attacks and demonstrations were clearly orchestrated and planned in advance of 9/11, Hillary Clinton and the White House continue to blame the Mohammed video and to call out for future censorship of U.S. citizens.  And our President?  He's once again flown the coop in the face of national adversity; he's not in the Oval Office where he should be, he's out fund-raising and campaigning... and not attending national security briefings.  May God save our country.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I’m sick to my stomach.  Bernanke and the Fed are doing QE3 and printing billions of more dollars.  This is the third time around with absolutely no effect.  Are they deliberately trying to destroy us?  (Allan ~ Westwood Village, CA)
A. Quantitative Easing, as it is called, includes the printing of more money and the buying back of U.S. Bonds.  The lame-brained theory is that the move will pump more money into the economy, keep interest rates artificially low and people will buy more goods, thereby kicking off the economy.  QE1 and QE2 succeeded only in jacking up the stock market.  This time around, I fear, the inflation that has just started to kick in will also roar, thereby not only making things more expensive, but also making the mess more difficult to fix.  Another major international credit rating firm has lowered our rating due to this move.  Please pass the Alka-Seltzer.

Q. True to your prediction, the Congress just voted to kick the budget can down the road with a continuing resolution for another six months.  When will this bullshit stop?  (Lars ~ Springfield, OR)
A. When you and I and the rest of America decide to put a stop to it… and not before.  Election Day is just around the corner.

Q. Kathleen Sibelius, Secretary of Health, has been found guilty of violating the Hatch Act and campaigning for the President’s reelection while on government time.  The White House is saying they will not apply any punishment?  (Darren ~ Salt Lake City, UT)
A. Correct.  A spokeswoman, Ann O'Hanlon, said there is no formal rule for dealing with an appointed official in violation of the act.  All other Federal employees who have violated the act have been fined and fired.  Don't look for Eric Holder to do anythying about it.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
I write about things that are important for us as Americans. I'm concerned about al-Qaeda sneaking across the border with the illegal immigrants that are using the coyotes to get across the border. And that's not a Democrat or Republican issue, that's a national security issue.” ~ Brad Thor
