D.C’s Mayor Vincent Gray has just signed an executive order banning police officers from making inquiries into a person’s immigration status, effectively granting amnesty to all illegal immigrants in the nation’s capitol. Law enforcement officers are also prohibited from sharing information about a person’s immigration status with federal agencies except when that status pertains directly to a criminal investigation. Likewise, agencies cannot detain suspected illegal immigrants on the basis of immigration status and forbids law enforcement agencies from making those in custody available to federal immigration enforcement officials for interviews without a court order. Over at DHS, Janet Napolitano told Congress that the DHS, under Obama’s policy of exercising “prosecutorial discretion” when enforcing immigration laws, allows “some” illegal immigrants to work in the United States.
COMMENTS:
This certainly paints an accurate picture as to where Obama
stands on the subject of illegal immigration.
He is not enforcing our laws; he is snubbing them. Dictators
snub laws.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you think we should spend our money and resources
helping Libya? (Belinda ~ Sacramento,
CA)
A. This is a qualified “yes.” They have oil and there are some frozen
monetary assets. If we get repaid, we
should help. Were we in better shape
economically, and were we not a nation of unemployed, underemployed, and
poverty-stricken people, I would surely favor humanitarian aid at any
cost. But, you have to take care of your
own before you can legitimately take care of others.
Q. Could what has been happening in Greece with riots and
violent protests happen here? (Barbara ~
Hamilton, CA)
A. The seeds have been planted by the Occupy Wall Street
protests and the Obama class wars. I
believe that the far-left liberal wing of the Democratic Party is definitely
willing to use violence and mayhem as a means to accomplish their intended
overthrow of our government.
Q. I’ve seen in spelled Qaddafi, Ghadafi, Gadaffi, and
Gadhafi. How do you spell it anyway? (Buster ~ Santa Barbara, CA)
A. DEAD.
