U.S. TO SELL DRONES TO MIDDLE EAST

At IDEX (international development exposition in the Middle EAST),  on Monday, the United Arab Emirates announced a deal to buy an unspecified number of Predator drones from the privately-owned U.S. firm General Atomics in a deal worth $196.57 million.  Other Middle Eastern countries are also clamoring for drone technology, saying they need drones for defense and stability.  Sources say the drones will not be armed.

COMMENTS:
I guarantee you that unarmed drones can be converted to armed drones in short order.  Having drone technology has given us a decisive edge over potential enemies; why the Obama Administration wants to sell that technology to our potential enemies I cannot fathom.  Maybe he has in mind striking a deal with those countries that they will shoot and kill U.S. citizens for him, in order to skirt around the Constitutional protections of due process.  Speaking of skirts, unnamed sources are saying Susan Rice got one helluva raise after dropping out of contention for the Secretary of State job.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s this about a tax revolt in Minnesota?  (Ray ~ Oceanside, CA)
A. The state wants to start taxing professional services that were previously not taxed, such as accounting fees, advertising, legal fees and computer services.  State businesses are in an uproar, claiming such fees will reduce their competitive edges and create undue accounting and management costs.  There’s no mention of reduction of state spending in the process.  Tax, tax, tax; that’s the liberal Democrat way.  Just wait until they start taxing taxes.

Q. In Colorado Monday, the House voted for four new guns laws.  The laws now go to the state senate for approval.  One of the laws bans guns on college campuses and in stadiums.  Isn’t this just asking for another mass shooting on a college campus?  (Joel ~ Alturas, CA)
A. Yes.  I’ll be damned if I’ll let any of my kids or grandkids go to college in Colorado.  If I were an ammo manufacturer, I’d quit selling ammo to law enforcement agencies in Colorado.  I always wondered why John Holmes was able to shoot so many people in the movie theater without someone in the crowd pulling a concealed weapon and shooting back.  The fact is, and they don’t want you to know it, is that the theater where the shooting took place was one of the few movie theaters in Colorado that won’t allow concealed weapons in their establishments, whether or not the owner has a permit.  Now, that being the case, how did Holmes manage to get HIS guns into that theater?

Q. I understand there was a computer glitch on the space station and that communications went down?  Was that caused by the Chinese hackers?  (Valerie ~ Anchorage, AK)
A. Not that they’re admitting.  They were updating computers and lost communication for over three hours between the U.S. and the Space Station, but they were able to communicate with Russia.  Nevertheless, it does appear that major hacking breaches are on a serious rise.
