COACH SHOOTS ATTACKERS

According to THE BLAZE NETWORK, “A 70-year-old women’s high school basketball coach shot and killed one would-be mugger and injured another while walking two [female] players to their cars Friday night in Detroit.”  “Police said the coach, who has not been named, was approached by two teens who tried to rob him in the parking lot of Martin Luther King High School as he walked with two girls around 7:30 p.m, WDIV-TV reported. One of the attackers died and the other was taken to the hospital in serious condition.”

COMMENTS:
And the “do-gooders” would have preferred that the coach was not armed?  Let’s get real; if you try to take away the rights for us to defend ourselves there’s going to be another revolution in this country, and I don't mean the kind where a wheel goes around, either.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The other day, Israel struck a Syrian convoy that was shipping advanced anti-aircraft missiles to Lebanon.  Why did they do that?  (Burt ~ Childers, TX)
A. The story is they don’t want such technology in the hands of Hezbollah.  The fact that Syria was making the transfer indicates that they may be trying to start a regional war to unite the Middle East against Israel and save dictator Assad’s fanny.  I think it was done to let both Syria and Iran know that Israel is not going to put up with much more bullshit, or Obamashit on the danger either, for that matter.

Q. The NRA is against background checks during gun sales, but most of the country is for them.  You’re a gun owner; what do you think?  (Magdalena ~ Sierra Vista, AZ)
A. Generally speaking, I favor the background checks.  But, I do have a problem unless the buyer has a right to appeal any adverse decision without hiring an attorney and suing.  Anytime you set this kind of check system up, there is room for abuse and mistakes.

Q. Someone told me that the real reason things are not getting better for Superstorm Sandy victims is the unions.  Is that true and can you elaborate?  (Horatio ~ Van Nuys, CA)
A. That is true.  Volunteer electrical workers from Alabama, for example, were turned away because they exercised their rights and refused to join unions or abide by union agreements.  This country has hit rock bottom when it comes to taking care of our own. The unions should be downright ashamed of themselves, as if they knew the meaning of the word.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
What is the biggest public forum in the United States? We were told it's the Super Bowl. The ad shows kids working at blue-collar jobs, and the final statement is just written text: Who's going to pay for the trillion dollar deficit?” ~ Joan Blades
