ECONOMY IN THE TANK…AGAIN!

Unemployment is rising again for the second month in a row.  Job creation is sinking.  Housing foreclosures are up; new housing starts are down.  Gas prices remain high.  Retail sales are off and the stock market is faltering.  These are the worst indicators in months and some of the worst in two years.

COMMENTS:
Congress is at a standoff over the budget and the debt ceiling and Obama is out campaigning.  Where in the hell is our national leadership?  Where in the hell is the government we elected to serve us well?  Cling on to your guns and your religion folks; they may well be all we have left to save us.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  With Obama away from Washington so much, who is actually running the day-to-day affairs of the White House?  (Pam ~ Redding, CA)
A.  Joe Biden and the Czars.  (Sounds like a new tooti-frooooti musical group, doesn't it?)

Q.  It looks to me as if Anthony Weiner is on his way out.  He’s obviously stonewalling and lying.  (Clarice ~ Cleveland, OH)
A.  Don’t bother him; he’s back to doing the business of the nation.  Besides, it’s the Republicans’ fault, because they were against ObamaCare.

Q.  Jack Kevorkian, who just died, was famous for helping the elderly ill commit suicide.  Will medical euthanasia ever become legal in this country?  (Lance ~ Susanville, CA)
A.  After ObamaCare is fully installed, yes.  But, the decision won’t be the patient’s, it will be the doctor’s and the medical review panels.  They used to call that murder, before ObamaCare, and Kevorkian served time in jail for it, but now it’s going to be part of our medical plan.  But, that’s fitting, because if they can abort unwanted babies, why can’t they kill off seniors who are blights on the economy?

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“As a medical doctor, it is my duty to evaluate the situation with as much data as I can gather and as much expertise as I have and as much experience as I have to determine whether or not the wish of the patient is medically justified.” ~ Jack Kevorkian
