The Federal Reserve Board is acknowledging that there is renewed weakness in the nation’s economy, while also saying that inflation is kicking up.
COMMENTS:
So now even the illustrious Fed, which has been saying at the behest of the Obama Administration that we were in a period of economic recovery, is now saying that things are getting worse. The fact is that every single indicator out there had gone bad. At this rate, it won’t be long before even the unemployed are unemployed.

A. If history is any indicator, he’ll go play golf with Harry Reid, Charlie Rangel and Donald Trump.
Q. Sometime in the next week or two, we will reach our current national debt limit. What will really happen if we don’t raise the debt limit? (Madge ~ Ft. Meyers, FL)
A. The sun will start to rise in the west. Alien beings from other planets will invade our cemeteries. One thing for sure, we will not be in bankruptcy and the sky really won’t fall in. The Democrats have been saying that we will default on our debt payments and there will be rioting in the streets. That is their scare tactic; they simply don’t tell the truth. If we default on our debt, yes we will be in trouble. But, we could continue to meet debt obligations and still be at our debt ceiling, simply by cutting spending in other areas, such as Libya. Eventually, we would be in trouble.
Q. The damned atheists are at it again, this time protesting in New York against a steel sign that honored seven firefighters at 911. When are we as a nation going to get up the guts to knock heads? (John ~ Redding, CA)
A. While I agree with the sentiment, we don’t need to be goaded into physical action. On the other hand, we don’t need to keep our mouths shut in a “politically correct” way, either. I do believe that the time had come for those of us who believe in God to stand up and make ourselves known. We need to be more vocal in our positions.
