The attack on the Pentagon and World Trade Center caused great celebration among the radical Muslim community, but the location and killing of Osama Bin Laden by Navy Seals did not. In fact, there has been an almost deafening uproar in the Islamic nations, and surely there are renewed threats that vengeance will be forthcoming. But, the danger to us is not confined to overseas; we have hundreds of radical cells operating within our borders and we have a large Muslim community that, while not openly supporting radical Muslim activities, does not seem to condemn it.
COMMENTS:
All of us real American citizens who are concerned about our country need to keep our eyes and ears open. We need to be alert for activity where there should be no activity, such as cars out in the boondocks by electrical transmission lines or people nosing around dams and bridges. Suspicious activity should be turned over to law enforcement officials for further investigation. We need to be careful not to turn ourselves in vigilantes; by the same token, we must understand that our danger has been increased and we need to work together to mitigate it.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. When did you hear about Osama’s killing and how did you feel about it? (Merlinda ~ Shafter, CA)
A. Yesterday morning and I was especially elated because it cured my constipation.
Q. I haven’t heard a word about the Japanese reactor situation in weeks. What’s the latest? (Lars ~ Geneva, WI)
A. They decided to flood the Number 1 reactor to decrease the heat and chances for an explosion. They got the temperature down to 113 degrees, but then danger of building hydrogen caused serious concern and they inserted nitrogen into the reactor and slowed down the water. They’ve also successfully started to pump water into Number 2 and Number 3. Things are looking up, but the danger has not passed.
Q. Some of those who liked and backed Osama, and some of the left-wing liberals in this country, are now lamenting that we might have used water boarding techniques to gain the information from the Gitmo prisoner that eventually led to Obama’s compound. What’s your reaction to that? (Rocky ~ Redding, CA)
A. Piss on them. Piss on every last one of them. They are the enemy to our freedom and our country, whether they are American or not.
