MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS ARE TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne has told Congress that the Mexican cartels should be declared terrorist organizations and dealt with accordingly.  That would put them on the same status as Al Queda and allow us to freeze any assets we can find.

COMMENTS:
Arizona is facing a very tough problem with illegal immigration and associated crime and the Feds don’t seem willing to stop it.  In fact, Federal authorities have been quick to point out there are plenty of laws on the books to deal with the problems, but Grayling Williams, director of the Office of Counternarcotics Enforcement in the Department of Homeland Security, has offered no rationale for the failure of the Feds to apply those laws.  Let there be no mistake about it; we are at war, right here on the North American continent. Obama can laugh about alligators and moats, but he is showing his real ignorance and outright belligerence when he does.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  What’s the real story about RomneyCare?  (Bret ~ Yountville, CA)
A.  About five years ago, Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts and he ramrodded a bill through for health care in that state which is remarkably similar to the disastrous ObamaCare.  Although he is gearing up to run for President, he’s made no apologies, saying only that he would repeal ObamaCare.  I’m sorry, I don’t trust a damned thing a politician says, and Obama himself has proven me right.  That’s one of the reasons I like Trump and Cain, they're not politicians.  For the record, here’s how well the plan has worked in Massachusetts:
·         The average wait time for an appointment with an internist is 48 days, and the wait time to see a family physician is 36 days.
·         The average wait time for pediatricians is 24 days, according to the MMS’s “2011 Study of Patient Access to Health Care.”
·         Access to primary care physicians is becoming more restricted — 53 percent of family physicians and 51 percent of internists are not accepting new patients.
·         Patients wait an average of 43 days to see a gastroenterologist, and 41 days to see an obstetrician/gynecologist.
·         While 87 percent of family physicians accept Medicare, only 62 percent accept MassHealth, the state’s version of Medicaid.
·         Only 56 percent of family physicians and 43 percent of internists accept Commonwealth Care, an insurance program for adults who don’t have private health insurance and don’t qualify for Medicare. Just 44 percent of family physicians and 35 percent of internists accept Commonwealth Choice, a program for uninsured adults that offers unsubsidized health insurance to people who are not eligible for Medicaid or Commonwealth Care.
·         Due, in part, to a shortage of doctors participating in the program, the number of emergency room visits has actually risen under the Massachusetts plan.
Q.  How do you feel about Newt Gingrich?  (Celeste ~ Walnut Creek, CA)
A.  I’ve just had a real shocker that occurred after I got your question.  I thought he would make a good President, but now, according to Newsmax, he has come out in favor of mandatory health insurance… just a slight variation from ObamaCare.  He also said Rep. Paul Ryan’s design to balance the budget is nothing more than a “Right Wing Extremist” social engineering plan.  I cannot believe the S.A.B. (silly assed bastard, pardon my Spanish) did that.  I’m flabbergasted… it was on “Meet the Press.”  As far as I am concerned, he can bow out of the race right now.  I’d even vote for McCain before I’d vote for him.  Maybe he can learn how to bow effectively from Obama.

Q.  All of this horrible flooding along the Mississippi and other rivers makes me wonder why they have not resolved those dangers decades ago.  (Marlena ~ Galveston, TX)
A.  That just goes to show that not even the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in all of its illustrious glory can outdo Mother Nature.
