BUSINESSES HIRING LEFT AND RIGHT?

The Obama Administration is ballyhooing that 268,000 new jobs were created in April, the fastest pace since 2006.

COMMENTS:
The word I saw in Fox News yesterday was 224,000.  Also, unemployment went back up to 9.0% and housing is in the toilet.  Someone really needs to flush the truth out of these guys.  But, even at 224,000, that’s a good start.  The way things are going, we need at least 300,000 just to break even.  What the upbeat report does not mention is the number… the actual number of people who are on unemployment or who have dropped off unemployment rolls due to the length of unemployment, or who are unemployed because their businesses folded or who are underemployed.   For some reason, these goons don’t want us to know the real truth.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  I saw Herman Cain on the Presidential Debates Thursday night and I was impressed.  Does he stand a chance of being President?  (Gary ~ Tempe, AZ)
A.  Americans are sick and tired of Chicago-style politics and they are sick and tired of politics as usual.  That’s what is so captivating about Donald Trump.  Yes, I think has stands a good chance if he can get the coverage and the name recognition and I think he would make a damned good President; but then, I’m also accused of being a racist too, you know.

Q.  They are saying that Al Queda was planning terrorist attacks on U.S. trains for September 11th this year, according to materials found in Osama’s compound.  Now that he is dead, will they continue to try something on September 11th?  (Vicki ~ Biloxi, MS)
A.  I would be very surprised if they don’t.  They may already be here; there are some real Al Queda-style cells operating in the country already and they have discovered radical Islamic materials along our southern border that Janet Napolitano insists is under control.

Q.  Will we get out of Afghanistan?  (Bea ~ Klamath Falls, OR)
A.  Yes.  The question is, when.  If I was a betting man, I would guess the announcement might come just before the November 2012 elections.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“Because what happens is, as the economy suffers, tax revenues go down. But unlike businesses, where at least your variable costs go down, in government your variable costs go up: unemployment insurance, workmen's compensation, health care benefits, welfare, you name it. ~ Meg Whitman
