Three members of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals are set to hear a challenge to a provision in the president’s new ObamaCare law that requires most Americans to get insurance. Two are Obama appointees and one was appointed by Bill Clinton.
COMMENTS:
I don’t understand the problem. You elected Obama; I did not vote for him. If he has stacked the deck, that is simply part of his “change.” There is only one way you can right this wrong; vote against him in 2012. Otherwise, just suck it up and fork over some more money, because he did not solve the problem of higher premiums, he simply made it a law that you have to pay them… or else.

A. I hope so. We need to get a handle on our energy crisis. Nuclear energy is far safer today than it was 30 or 40 years ago. The only issue is what to do with nuclear waste, but if Pakistan keeps flapping off at the gums, we could always store it there.
Q. Will this county ever have another Ronald Reagan? (Mort ~ Chiloquin, OR)
A. I don’t think Joe the Plumber wants to run. I actually think that Newt Gingrich might fill those shoes, but he’s got a lot of baggage. Herman Cain? Perhaps. Donald Trump? That’s a maybe. The rest of the field so far? Nahhhhh. They might fill George Bush’s shoes….
Q. What will happen if we don’t get real and immediate spending cuts? (Mike ~ Redding, CA)
A. I’ve heard some people say that the Tea Parties have influence, but not enough to force such cuts. I would beg to differ. This country has had enough of Washington’s cavalier attitudes toward duties to our nation that simply must be met. I think there will be hell to pay.
