GADHAFI’S SON KILLED IN AIR STRIKE?

Unconfirmed news out of Libyia late Saturday night was that the Libyan leader's youngest son, Saif al-Arab, a family friend and a child were allegedly killed during an air strike on Tripoli.  The United Nations has firmly denied that it wanted to kill Saif.

COMMENTS:
The press and media have been almost apologetic, as if they want to demand that the U.N. get out of Libya immediately.  “My God!  They killed Muammar’s son?”  Let me be candid; I was against intervention in the first place, soley on the basis of International Law.  Nevertheless, there we are, the U.S., France, Britain and the United Nations.  We are embroiled in a civil war and, when we’re at war, we should be fighting to win and get the hell out of there.  Frankly, now that we are there, I think we should drop one big huge sub-nuke blockbuster on Gadhafi’s doorstep.  Let’s end this thing quickly and get our boys home where they belong.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  With all of those oil rigs idle and unemployment so high, with gas prices going out of sight, why hasn’t Obama reopened the Gulf for oil exploration yet?  (Al ~ Shreveport, LA)
A.  What’s in it for him?

Q.  I think I’ve seen the damned Royal wedding on every channel 100 times since Friday.  Isn’t there any other news in the world?  (Disgusted ~ Atlanta, GA)
A.  I agree.  Fox News has finally ticked me off big time.  I hope their ratings go down the tubes, pardon the play on words.

Q.  I understand there is a move on to stop illegal aliens from having their babies born here in the U.S. and then getting citizenship for them, thereby making them anchor babies.  Is that true?  (Yolanda ~ Redding, CA)
A.  Yes.  Senators David Vitter (R-LA), Jerry Moran (R-KS), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Rand Paul (R-KY) are pushing it.  The measure would limit birthright citizenship to children born in the USA who have at least one parent who is already a U.S. citizen, legal resident or active member of the military.  Since they are all Republicans, there isn’t a chance in hell that it will pass.
