Far more than the 9.0% claimed by the Federal Government, Fox News is saying some 25 million Americans are out of work, including those on unemployment rolls, those whose benefits have terminated, those who were formerly in business for themselves, and those working only working part time or at reduced wages. That’s about 17% and does not include the 4% to 5% who are chronically unemployed.
COMMENTS:
Housing values continue to plummet. Gas prices are escalating, inflation is kicking in. This really is “change you can believe in.” You want this guy Obama bin Change-o in charge of our country for four more years?

Q. I can’t believe that Barney Frank. He says that now we have Osama, we should virtually defund the military. Who in the hell is this guy? (Norman ~Ft. Worth, TX)
A. I will say that I have not agreed with anything that Barney Frank has ever said about anything. He’s as left as you can get without falling off the edge of the planet. That being said, I have to agree that he is partially correct. Outside of interest on the national debt, military spending is about as high as you can get. I agree in a strong national defense; I’m hawkish on that. But, I do not agree that we are the world’s policeman. We do not belong in Libya, we should be getting out of Iraq, we should be reducing troops in overseas friendly nations and we should have these men and women home helping us with our war along the Mexican border. If we’re going to be spending money on such things as defense against Al Queda, the money should be going into intelligence, not the Pentagon. I think the defense contractors are fat enough for the time being, thank you.
Q. Hezbollah has a training camp just across the Mexican border? (John ~ Redding, CA)
A. For decades Hezbollah has operated in South America and then Central America, sometimes with and sometimes without their ally in terror, Hamas. Lately, they are partnering with Mexican drug gangs in arms deals. But, don’t worry about it. Janet Napolitano has everything under control. Trust me, she’s a real peach. Yes sir, a real peach.

A. So do I. What the Federal government is and is not doing there is criminal. They are not following our own laws. On that basis alone, we should fire everyone in Washington, and I mean everyone. Every Republican and Democrat has played some role in this disastrous policy. Good God, why don’t we just cede to Mexico? I can speak enough Spanish to order a glass of milk and a hamburger, how about you?
