COMMENTS:
Steele has not proven to be a dynamo in his current position. The Republicans have been floundering ever since John McCain got the nomination, and it now appears to many Americans that they are simply an extension of the Democrat Party. While most Americans are infuriated at what Congress and the President have done to this country, they are not by any means enamored with the Republican lack of clear leadership during what they perceive to be a national crisis. The end result may well be that the Republicans who have been salivating at the prospects of regaining control of the House and maybe the Senate will be sorely disappointed in November. If the Republican Party wants to make its dreams come true, it needs to get rid of Steele and get strong leadership and a firm sense of national direction yesterday.

"It's not about Michael Steele. It's not about the Republican Party. It's about this country. This is July 4. There are a lot of young men and women spending July 4 in Afghanistan for the second or third time. We all owe it to them to stand behind them. This is not President Obama's war. This is America's war." ~ Lindsey GrahamTODAY’S VIDEO:
