OBAMA SHUTS DOWN 73,000 BLOGS!

The number of blogs shut down by the Obama Administration has risen from 40,000 a few days ago to over 73,000. The Administration claims the sites were using pirated video and copyrighted material in their content. No advance notice was given, no criminal charges have been filed, no court hearings have been held and no Court Orders were used to seize the sites. Fears are that this action is only the beginning, and that more sites will be targeted as the months roll on.

COMMENTS:

This is a clear violation of the First Amendment and several other provisions of the Constitution. If the websites were using material illegally, there is a clear cut way to deal with it: you file a notice to cease and desist, you file charges in Court, and you get a Court Order. This amounts to storm trooper tactics reminiscent of Germany and the Soviet Union. Marxist-style oppression is now out in the open… In America, of all places!

A. No. He’s going to be found guilty and Obama will pardon him in a few weeks. That was the deal when he agreed not to take the stand.

A. Maybe they’ll get some grits and watermelon and send it all over to the White House for dinner. (This is probably my last blog anyway, so what the hell……?)
