CHARLIE RANGEL SHOULD GET OFF

Representative Charles Rangel has been accused of income tax evasion and ethics violations galore. Rangel has been under investigation over a variety of allegations related to his personal finances, including: failure to pay taxes on a Dominican Republic resort home; the omission of hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and assets from his annual financial-disclosure reports; control of multiple rent-stabilized apartments in a luxury Harlem building; fundraising on behalf of the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Policy at City University in New York and a report that Rangel saved a lucrative tax break for a multi-million dollar donor to the center.

COMMENTS:
Congress is full of scoundrels who have participated in everything from sex scandals to income tax evasion to negligent homicide to….you name it. They are liars, cheaters and bullies. They willingly participated in laying the worst piece of legislation ever to pass Congress on the backs of an unwilling American people. The way I see it, it’s a badge of honor to hide your yacht in Rhode Island and snub your nose at the system. If you don’t participate in the greed and corruption, you shouldn’t run for the office. Rangel should be held in high esteem.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why is the Congressional Budget Office coming out now and warning of impending economic disaster for the country when they were painting everything as being just fine during the final days of the Health Care debates? (Porky ~ Santa Maria, CA)
A. Because Obama wanted to pass the Health Care Bill and told them to dummy up; now he wants to create a favorable atmosphere for raising taxes. No one in Washington has the guts to tell the President to got someplace else and get a life.

Q. What is the status on all of those state lawsuits against the Health Care Bill? (Myrtle ~ Eugene, OR)
A. They are winding their ways through the court systems, and the White House and Attorney General are doing everything they can to slow the process down.

Q. What’s the latest on the Veterans Memorial Cross in the Mojave Desert? (Red ~ Orlando, FL)
A. Good question. There’s not a word since the middle of May when vandals tore it down and the Justice Department refused to allow a replacement to go up. I have a few feelers out. If you have info, send me an email.
