GREATEST THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY: DEBT

President Obama, faced with the results of the creation of his runaway spending and with his back to the wall on the economy and rising national debt, recently named a “Debt Commission” to examine the crisis and to make recommendations. The two leaders of the commission, Republican Alan Simpson and Democrat Erskine Bowles, have told the National Governor’s Association that the situation is grim. "This debt is like a cancer," Bowles said in a sobering presentation; "It is truly going to destroy the country from within."

COMMENTS:

More and more voices, including the President’s own people, are raising the red flag of danger. When the commission was created, the prevailing reaction was that it would just be used as an excuse to raise taxes. Well, Barry, I’ve got news for you; if you have any thought of raising taxes before you start meaningful budget cuts, you may well be surprised. Everything you have done to our economy, Barry, has made it worse. May God be with your successor, whoever that might be, because he certainly will have a horrible mess to deal with in every respect.

A. Let’s get it sealed off first, then an actual permanent cap placed on it before we get excited. Even if this ends the leak, it will be decades before the effects are fully mitigated.

Q. I see that the NAACP has come out and accused Tea Parties of being racist. What’s your reaction? (Mollie ~ Bishop, CA)
A. The NAACP has never been known to play with a full deck. Actually, if you want to know where the true racists in this country really are, the NAACP’s a great place to start. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black… That’s all just fomenting the anger and division in this country at the behest of President Barack Hussein Obama.

Q. I hear that the names, addresses and other information about illegal aliens is circulating in Utah. Who did it? (Sandy ~ Alturas, CA)
A. My guess is that it was done by Obama agents trying to stir up a backlash against the Arizona immigration law.
