VAN DER SLOOT KILLS AGAIN?

Joran van der Sloot has been arrested and is in a Chilean jail charged with killing a young woman, Stephany Flores, in Lima, Peru. Van der Sloot is the chief suspect in the disappearance of Natalie Holloway in Aruba five years ago, but has never been formally charged. He also has now been charged in Alabama with trying to extort $250,000 from Holloway’s family in return for revealing the location of her body.

COMMENTS:
It appears to me that van der Sloot’s father’s political clout in Arbua saved him from being formally charged and found guilty. That reeks of corruption and is one more reason why U.S. citizens should avoid going to Aruba for any reason whatsoever.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. With Bill Clinton taking the fall for the White House offer of a job to Representative Joe Sestak in trade for his dropping out of the Senate race, what do you think? (Manuel ~ Paradise, CA)
A. “We didn’t do it. We didn’t do it. We didn’t do it. We didn’t do it. Uhhhhhh…That’s the way we do business in Washington.” And that final statement, my friend, us why we have to clear them all out in November and start from scratch. I’ve said it before…. It has become a culture of crime and corruption; no way can you sanitize it, so you have to get rid of it. Even Clorox can’t clean up this stench.

Q. I know that Obama hates Fox News. He tried to bar them from the White House Press Corps and he continually rants about them in his speeches. Is there any possibility that he could find a way to silence them? (Tina ~ Battle Mountain, NV)
A. Yes. He’s lining up the “Fairness Doctrine” and “Internet Reform” as a way to get the job done. By the way, NEWSMAX is reporting that, in the summer of 2008 when Obama started to slip in the national polls, he agreed to meet with top Fox officials in a highly secret meeting at the Waldorf in New York. “The meeting went into meltdown mode as a finger-wagging Obama furiously vented his anger against Fox and its top conservative host, Sean Hannity.” Word has it that Obama threatened to ruin Fox if they didn’t comply with his demands. This man is very dangerous to the future of our country. In the interim, it appears that Glenn Beck has stepped into "it."  He chided Barack Obama's daughter in a recent show and I agree that was in poor taste.  Yet, I don't know of anyone alive today who hasn't said something he wished he had not at one time or another.  Unlike David Letterman, Beck stepped right up to the plate and apologized immediately.  What needs to happen now is for him to get back to his investigative series on some of the White House shenanigans.

Q. If it were up to you, how would you plug the oil leak in the Gulf? (Emilie ~ Round Mountain, CA)
A. Something that rhymes with tar….Stuff it full of Czars.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“A certain number of Americans are already in Peking and most of us here feel that it would be very useful for the United States and especially for the Left-wing progressive movement in the United States if groups of students such as you mention could make a tour of China.” ~ Anna Louise Strong
